I own a high-end residential property management company in CT. I was in a pinch to service a commercial grade outdoor grill in an interior space. The commercial guys wouldn't do it because it is a white glove situation and the residential cleaners wouldn't do it due to the size/complexity of the commercial fan motor. Tafari did an excellent job of protecting the space all around the grill and hood. One slip & there would have been grease splattered all over the extremely expensive stonework. Tafari cleaned the grill, hood and the vent pipe. He climbed the roof and disassembled the giant fan housing with grease trap, cleaned it all and reassembled it. Everything was perfect! Tafari is an incredible interesting man to speak with, and we had a great conversation about business, families and current world events. We were quoted $350 to clean our range hood, with the proviso that it could be more depending on the complexity of the project. He spent three hours in the kitchen and handed me a bill for $1,000. Granted our hood was very dirty, but at no point in the three hours did he reach out to let us know he'd be tripling the estimate. He also claims to be a BBB Accredited Business, but bbb.org has no file on him. There was also Easy Off overspray over adjacent cabinets and the wall.

Tafari was great. Taped plastic sheeting to keep area clean and took apart elements to clean from the inside. Excellent work done efficiently.

We found Residential Hood Cleaning on Angi. Our range hood was very challenging for us to clean as it is in a difficult spot to reach. Tafari is the owner of this independent one-person business, and when we called he did not hesitate to take the job, even though our home is over 50 miles from his place of business. He arrived promptly and went right to work. We were amazed at how thorough of a job he did, reaching far up the hood and removing all of the accumulated grease. He is a most pleasant and courteous person, and an experienced technician, who has had his business for 8 years, and worked for another commercial hood cleaning company for eight years before that. We are very appreciative of his work and would recommend him to anyone needing their home exhaust hood cleaned; his is one of the very few companies that I could find that specializes in cleaning residential range hoods.
