"We first hired Ruben to complete a tile job in a shower that had material damage to the existing floor tiles. Ruben to great care to protect the surrounding areas and ensure the quality of the work was the highest possible. He was meticulous to ensure everything was properly sealed and restored. He communicated at every phase of the project so we could work together when he ran into anything unexpected or for us to review progress. It has been a few months since the project was completed and it looks well and we know the quality of his work is better than the original because everything drains well and dries quickly. Based on this experience, we did decide to hire Ruben for another home project and will surely do so again in the future. He even rebuilt the corner bench, which was a change from the original project plan once we discovered it was not stable due to poor workmanship and materials used during the original build."

My friend Allen Rodi, a real estate agent with Keller Williams and friend, spoke with me at length about this possibility. I am 80 years old and my husband is 74. We would both benefit from living nearby for health reasons naturally. My husband has a great deal of experience with construction, having worked just the past summer with Al Shoustarian on "flipping" two houses on Bell Street, Marietta. He would also be helpful to my daughter's family in repair, painting, carpentry, lawn care and concrete. So, we currently are blessed to live in a condo owned by my daughter, but it is only temporary. The 156 Parkview Drive residence was 950 sq. ft. and it was more than adequate. Allen Rodi said we could build an 800 sq. ft. ADU for about $130,000 which is the current budgeted amount. I, therefore, am very enthused about this idea and would appreciate any and all help you can give in getting this little home for us off the ground.
