"The original cost of around $150.00 was reasonable, but the technician recommended a deep cleaning which was $350.00. True, the chimney had not been cleaned for a long time, but I don't see where an extra $200.00 worth of cleaning came into play unless the chemical used was insanely expensive. No floor covering or booties were used so after the technician left we found charcoal stains in our rugs and tracks out the door. The technician was friendly and concerned about our daughter saying she shouldn't be around when the chemical was used. It was also nice that he showed us how much creosote was removed. We will likely call them for our next cleaning, however I would want them to put down something to protect the floor."
