Addition to Existing Structure - Build, Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms, Find a Custom Home Builder , and 1 more
"We hired Josh Rutledge after having an awful experience with a different contractor. When we hired Josh, we were apprehensive after our previous experience with the other company. Through the course of our job, Josh completely restored our faith in his profession. He is beyond competent, and he takes great pride in the quality and consistency of his work. He totally blew our minds, and our house looks beautiful! He fixed all of the mistakes that were left by the previous contractor, and when he found mistakes that we didn't even know about he fixed those too! He's an all around nice guy, and pleasant to be around as he's got a very calm and friendly demeanor. We have already recommended Josh to friends and neighbors, and we will definitely use him for future projects! I only hope that we can book him, the quality of his work and his professionalism are surely going to keep him busy with all of the referrals he is going to be getting! We can't say enough about Josh and his work- if you hire him, you will have ZERO regrets!"

Stucco Siding, Stone Slab Countertops - Install- Countertop Material included in pricing and Install
"JV Stucco are very reasonable priced with exceptional quality of work. Victor and his team are very friendly and sincere in their work. We have installed quartz on kitchen counters, bathroom vanity counters and around fire place. We had concern regarding fireplace work but it turned out to great and now it is focus of the room. The finish of work is great and I highly recommend them instead of big guys like Precision stones etc."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
Portland Addition & Remodeling Contractors are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 164 reviews of 164 pros.
