"My wife and I had a fantastic experience with H&A My Design, they remodeled our kitchen. Golan was our project manager and he was excellent, we have been so impressed by his eye for detail and great ideas. Our kitchen is beautiful, Golan and his crew did fantastic job and we will highly recommend this contractor to friends, neighbors and family."

"I really enjoyed working with Leandro. He is friendly, professional and punctual. Leandro cares about his work and his clients. He took the time to explain and literally show me why a skirt on my stairs would not work because my walls were not uniformly smooth. He removed the carpet on my stairs and upstairs hallway and installed new hardwood flooring. He made the treads on my stairs so they are awesome solid treads. The stairs, upstairs hallway and baseboards that he installed look great and go with my existing floors. Leandro is meticulous with his work and was sure to clean up the work area before leaving for the day. The way my townhouse was built (1980's construction) threw him a couple of curve balls (ok a few curve balls), but he just rolled with it and made it work. Now that's a master of his craft."

"We needed work done as a condition of a refinance. Mike was friendly, best bid to do the project, scheduled quickly and completed the work in 1 day. Because he was so efficient, it didn't hold up final review by the appraiser and the refinance went through on time. I would definitely use him again."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
