Additions and Remodels
"Fantastic experience!!! We just completed a bathroom project with EverGreen Construction Group and we are very pleased with the results. All of their office staff and whole crew were professional, respectful and cleaned up after themselves. There are always unexpected problems with any home renovation project- and ours was no exception- but our project manager communicated with us every step of the way and resolved any issues we had quickly and efficiently. We could not be happier with our new bathroom. We will definitely contact them again for future home projects."

"My wife and I had a fantastic experience with H&A My Design, they remodeled our kitchen. Golan was our project manager and he was excellent, we have been so impressed by his eye for detail and great ideas. The project moved very smoothly and everything happened just as they said it would. Our kitchen is beautiful, Golan and his crew did fantastic job and we will highly recommend this contractor to friends, neighbors and family."

"I really enjoyed working with Leandro. He is friendly, professional and punctual. Leandro cares about his work and his clients. He took the time to explain and literally show me why a skirt on my stairs would not work because my walls were not uniformly smooth. He removed the carpet on my stairs and upstairs hallway and installed new hardwood flooring. He made the treads on my stairs so they are awesome solid treads. The stairs, upstairs hallway and baseboards that he installed look great and go with my existing floors. Leandro is meticulous with his work and was sure to clean up the work area before leaving for the day. The way my townhouse was built (1980's construction) threw him a couple of curve balls (ok a few curve balls), but he just rolled with it and made it work. Now that's a master of his craft."

"Avi and his team were fabulous. At the beginning of the process, he was the only contractor that we had spoken to that even mentioned the abatement process and how it might affect us. He was personable and friendly and made sure our need to live in the house during renovation was addressed. He stopped by regularly and had chats with us making sure we were happy with the process. Avi made sure that we knew that something might not be the best idea but if we truly wanted it he would do it. We did the kitchen, the master bedroom, master bathroom, guest bathroom, all windows, all doors including the front and garage doors. It was a huge undertaking but what a transformation. We were first time home remodelers and they walked us through every aspect of the process. When the unexpected happened, they were up front and let us know. The construction team under Luis were fabulous. We would swear Luis was a magician, the kinds of things he could get done on the spot were amazing. Definitely a man of many skills. The crew were respectful and friendly. They made sure everything was clean and livable at the end of each day. Also Joyce, the office coordinator, was awesome and we had a text thread going with her and Avi the whole time. All the permits were obtained in the proper manner and everything was done according to safety regulations. We are thrilled with all of our new home and highly recommend Finesse Remodeling and Consulting for all your interior remodeling needs."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
