JR is absolutely fantastic. We had hardwood underneath our carpet that needed to be refinished and his finishing work is beautiful. There were some patches that he had noticed and was able to blend them in with the original hardwood, you wouldnt even know they existed after he was done with them. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and genuinely cares about his clients.

JR was sympathetic to my needs, He demonstrated how he would treat one of the scrapes with a good result. I found JR to be an honest and fair contractor, quick to respond and carry out the job on time.

JR, the owner of Next Generation Hardwood Floors is a one-man-show and there is a good reason; he is a perfectionist. Our home was built in 1940 and has the original hardwood floors throughout. JR suggested to not stain the floors but rather to let the natural beauty of the grains and colors come to life with his refinishing technique, He had sample photos to share so we could visually see his recommendation. JR answers your calls, answers your questions, keeps you updated and is all about satisfying his customers. He is very flexible with scheduling. We just left the house for a few days and he could come and go at his leisure which worked well for both parties; He was our first interview and after a friendly, yet professional conversation, we know he was our guy for the job and hired him on the spot. His pricing is extremely fair and reasonable and I shook his hand immediately to seal the deal, We are extremely happy with our hardwood flooring refinishing. i will be singing praises about JR and Next Generation Hardwood Floors for years to come.

From the beginning to the end of the project, JR Olson, the owner, communicated clearly. He called throughout the project to let us know what he did. We were in a hotel. He completed the project early. The results are beautiful. We see the character of each piece of wood. Important to us is his use of environmently friendly water based stain finish.

Iâ ve hired these folks on two projects. They are very easy to work with. Flexible. They get the job done quickly, without aggravating the neighbors. They delivered high quality results on both projects at a reasonable price.
