Write a ReviewJohn is an excellent professional. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and has great customer service. He offered me a fair and affordable price for a high quality water heater and install. He was able to do same day install which was done in 2 hours. Greatly appreciate his work ethic and attention to detail, I would hire him again.
Did a radiator and boiler inspection, fixed an issue with my boiler. Called back to install a digital wifi thermostat. Will also be calling to replace my boiler before next year. Great guy, excellent pricing. Going to be doing lots of business with him!!!
They arrived on time were very professional and were exactly correct on what was wrong. I would highly recommend them. I was pleasantly surprised and would hire him and recommend to everyone.
Nice guy. Responded quickly.
John Rachko quickly answered my call, ran a pressure check, and took the time necessary to insure that my mini split line set had no leaks. Then he also installed the refrigerant. The unit is now up and running perfectly. Moving forward, RACHKO MECHANICAL will be the first company I call for HVAC service.
I applied on Angi List for a/c install. John replied to central air install but I told him it was not central air but through the wall a/c. Quoted me a price and came out to do job. Rather than let me get a much needed sleeve to sit a/c in, he installed it and sealed it with concrete. I asked him if he could do that and he assured me it was ok. Said he did not have time to get a sleeve. I asked him what to do if the a/c needs repair, he said that I would have to have someone chip the concrete away. What?!! Don't let his bedside manner fool you, It sure fooled me. When seemed so in a rush to move to his next money deal that (1) I went to Lowes and bought wood to reframe my a/c. I spackled and painted the damaged wall and put frame around a/c. (2) I still have grille that he promised to come back and put up only to find out that it was to go on the sleeve (3) Never returned any of my phone calls to reassure me that he was coming back and it left me with anxiety about my wall caving in. His answer after possibly causing me more damage and money than when I started was, he is going to go through Angi to pay me back every dime I paid him. This is even though it is going to cost me more money to fix what he messed up. He may be good for and to certain people, but what he did to me is disheartening. I really believe, even though I know he is not going to do it, that he should not pay me back what I paid him but instead pay for what it is going to cost to bring it back to its original state.
Eleanor had agreed to pay the service charge for the removal and disposal of a 40 year old through the wall air conditioning unit. Eleanor had already purchased her own replacement unit which was approximately 4 inches smaller on each side. I informed Eleanor that I could remove and recycle the old AC unit, install the new unit, but I cannot repair the gap left inside. She insisted that I begin the work immediately as it was 95 degrees I am not a carpenter and I believe I made myself clear in what I could offer. Eleanor insisted that she was very happy with the work. She even tipped me. In the end everything that she paid was refunded and
