Parkfield Gale Insulation

I had an excellent experience with Parkfield Gale from start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain my options, gave a fair estimate, and completed the work on schedule. The new gutters look fantastic and function perfectly — even during heavy rain. Work was scheduled in a timely manner, workers arrived on time, worked most of 2 days. They were polite and efficient. They responded to questions. Sales Rep was extremely responsive to our questions and followup. A cautionary note, though: after all the work was done we cleaned up. Then we noticed that our kitchen cupboards on one wall were filled with insulation! We pulled out our dishwasher and also found its back was filled with insulation. We had to vacuum out the motor etc., and also found insulation in the basement. As it turned out, a small area of plaster behind our dishwasher had been removed when a kitchen company remodeled the kitchen some 18 years ago. The cellulose shot right into the house through the hole. I estimate we cleaned up 3-4 lbs of cellulose in these inside spaces. What a mess. Something for other homeowners to check before getting insulation!

They were quick, neat and responsible. They did make a mistake in my attic and filled it with insulation accidentally. They did come back out and correct the issue with no cpmplaints. We were very pleased.

The sales rep, Dominic Leone, was very knowledgeable. There was condensation on an A/C duct and he made some very good recommendations about an exterior wall. During the hot summers of 2012 and 2013, I didn't have any problems. He made a great, spot on recommendation at minimal cost. The workers came out on schedule, cleaned up after themselves and sealed up the hole after they were done.

I had to do some vetting of insulation contractors provided by AEP and Columbia Gas. Terry Sopp, a contractor working with Gale, gave me an estimate that was less than half what a prior contractor, Moody and Moses, had. Both Terry and the guys who ultimately blew in the insulation were professional and provided clear expectations (i.e. the size of holes in the walls). Their diagnostics of existing insulation saved time and money. All were courteous and a pleasure to work with.

Gale insulation provided a professional service with a quality install. They sprayed closed cell foam in the band joists, blow in blanket system in the walls and Owens Corning fiberglass in the attic. The insulation inspection passed the day after the install and I've been very happy with the temperature on the 2nd floor of my house.
