We bought our first home this year and absolutely love it, but we quickly learned it needed more TLC than we realized. We could see rot on our exterior trim and clapboards, plus a missing gable vent. From the very beginning, Shawn impressed us. His estimate was incredibly thorough, and it was clear he’s a true professional. As new homeowners, we felt confident putting our home in his hands. We are so fortunate we hired him. Shawn showed up early, worked late, and demonstrated meticulous attention to detail in everything he did. When we discovered the rot was far more extensive than we thought, he never made us feel stressed or overwhelmed—he walked us through our options, offered solutions, and helped us make the right decisions for our home. The quality of his work speaks for itself, but just as important, his communication, reliability, and integrity made the experience exceptional. We will be working with Shawn for all of our home’s needs. We actually missed him when he left !

Boyd Building had done some work for us in the past so when we needed a major deck and porch rebuild and finish, we knew Shawn would be the only one to call. Shawn always goes above and beyond in planning and executing our projects. He once told me that he puts the same amount of quality and care into the work he does on a customer's home as he would on his own home and I truly believe him. His work is detailed and meticulous. The job he did remodeling our outside space is top quality. There is not one thing we had to question. We love everything! Beyond that he is reliable, honest, trustworthy, hardworking and a really nice guy. We can't possibly recommend Boyd Building any higher! 5 stars don't seem like enough!

We had a kitchen remodel and it was done within budget, within the communicated timeline, and we are very happy with the end result. The kitchen looks really great. His attention to detail was above and beyond. Very knowledgeable and great finish work.

I highly recommend Boyd Builders. My sunroom and deck were coming away from the house. Shawn jacked up both replaced footings, posts and drain pipes. Budget was clear from the start. He is professional and exceptional in his work. I have already recommended him to friends.

We hired Shawn/Boyd Building to complete an addition that included a new half bath and expansion of existing bathroom. Shawn displayed incredible craftsmanship while satisfying our creative ideas - including relatively complicated carpentry and unique designs. Shawn did an excellent job replacing and installing vinyl skirting in the back of my mother’s mobile home. He also replaced boards around her shed. Both jobs were a job well done and he didn’t break the bank. I knew I wanted to hire Shawn at the time of the free estimate. He took out his measuring tape, measured, and looked at the project, stated what needed to be done with replacing the skirting, and sent the proposal. I signed and he did an excellent job. I would have Shawn again to do future projects.

Shawn Boyd, Boyd Builders, did a full reno in our main bathroom and did a fantastic job- from floor to installing cabinets, to lining up plumbers and electricians. He managed all timelines. Shawn created a beautiful design around our shower niche and and knee wall. Not only was his work meticulous he is super tidy, which was something we really appreciated. Iâ d say shop no further. We already have jobs lined up for future work with him!

Shawn listened to our needs and followed through. The project was finished in a very reasonable amount of time. The quality of work is excellent. This is the 2nd project he has completed for us and we would definitely hire him again.
