Reviews
Write a ReviewTom showed up on time, laid plastic down so as to not track in snow, got the job done quickly and for the original estimate. It took some time to schedule but that's because he is busy - which is a good thing. He cleaned up before he was done and was courteous and professional the whole time. Don't try to skimp and safe a little money with someone who isn't good/qualified like I did. Go straight to a pro like Tom.
Worm Drywall did an excellent job on my remodel. His drywall hanging crew did not come equipped to protect my home from the drywall dust, so I covered the floors myself. The finisher (Troy) did an excellent job of "bagging" off the room during the mud and tape process, but he was so good that there was very little dust from that process anyway. The majority of the disruption and dust generation was from the hanging process. They were super fast, but spread a lot of dust throughout the house. They should cover floors and tape off doorways in an effort to keep the rest of the home clean.
First, I should say that the work has not been completed yet but that I did hire him to do the work~ I will update once it's done.. I am very particular in terms of questions and details and Tom was a complete professional. I appreciated that he was so well organized in his "7 day process" and that he answered all my questions ~ even when I solicited his thoughts on matters unrealted to drywall. I have received 3 bids and Tom's bid fit the rest which I'm told via a contractor friend were all high but please recognize that I am just a homeowner with this one job not multiple jobs, I have a short timeframe, and given all bids were in the same family, his must be on par. I selected Tom because he is insured, he was organized, professional, he was flexible with my schedule (I am due with a baby very soon!), and he seemed to have a well run operation. Of course, the work has not begun but I am excited to get this part of the project complete and look forward to working with Tom. Tom came to the house on the selected day and even arrived early to accomodate my schedule and provided a bid after his review and measure. I appreciated the quick turnaround and thus far every experience has been A+. UPDATE***** The work was completed and I can officially say that Tom is THE BEST person to work with. I contracted everyone for my basement project on my own and he's the one that took charge of his area the most. The iniital sheetrock drop off order was wrong and he got on the phone and resolved the issue before I even knew what was going on!!! I really needed him to finish up the work by a certain date (working backwards as I'm very pregnant and needed carpet laid before baby came) and he delivered.....had guys work weekends, resolved framing issues that were not his problem, brought in fans to help dry things, etc. He just told me that any issue, I call him and let him handle it........aghh.......I cannot tell you how much I appreciated his services. I would highly recommend Tom with Worm Drywall and I've already referred him to friends and two neighbors and will not hestiate to call again for other needs. Thanks Tom....space is done and we are just waiting on baby now!!!!
Tom was on time, complete his work in the time frame given and repaired an unexpected hole in the ceiling adding only a slight additional charge for his time. Job looks very good.
Tom was excellent, very professional and everything was done to our liking and for a lot less than the competitors. Â There was an issue with some yellow still showing on the ceiling after the first visit and he promptly returned to re-do the entire ceiling and resolve the issue. Â I would definitely recommend Tom and Worm drywall and we'd definitely use him again.

Tom was great to work with. He was prompt at all appointments, and although he did not do the actual install or finish, he was onsite daily to check progress and quality of work. He also went out of his way to accommodate a very aggressive timeline (we wanted it done before company arrived just after Memorial Day). He also went out of his way to help fix some framing issues during the drywall install. I was at work when he called with the issues, and before I could have come home to fix them, he asked about a nail gun and spare lumber, and quickly addressed the problems and had the installers going again quickly! Troy, the finisher, was also great and offered to work over Memorial Day weekend because he knew we were anxious to have the project done. Overall great customer service, very fair pricing and top notch quality work.

Tom was phenomenal to work with and provided the best price by far. I have hired a lot of contractors over the years but Tom is the best I have ever worked with. I needed to drywall, mud, and paint the ceilings of our entire unfinished basement. The biggest problem we had was getting full sheets down to our basement and Tom came up with an ingenious method that allowed him to get full 12 foot sheets into the basement which allowed him to keep the costs down. His communication was excellent. The quality of work was also outstanding which he also guarantees for a year after completion.
