Speedy, professional, courteous service. I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by Josue. And I felt like the repair cost was fair and reasonable for such a quick turnaround time. Western Plumbing was the first to respond to my request for service, and they came out first thing the next morning after my 3:00am request on Angi. Before (White 1/2" PEX)/after (Red 3/4" PEX). I will definitely call Western Plumbing for my next repair or upgrade project.

Install, Replace or Repair a Main Water Pipe - For Business

I am very pleased with the speedy, courteous, professional and reasonably priced service. Leak was at the main service line where it terminates inside the house just beneath the house shut off valve. I already had the slab concrete opened up from a previous handyman repair 10 years ago. I'm glad I did not patch the slab following that repair, as I knew the handyman's Sharkbite connection would likely fail eventually. Western Plumbing Plumber's name is Josue. Rick kept me updated on the job progress. Western Plumbing got the drainage blockages cleared in two major areas (which previously a local plumbing company wasn't able to do, but charged $250). Secondary, they saved the rental property owner a lot of money. I fully trust this company whose professionalism and expertise are tops!

I was very impressed and thankful for the quick response. The technician did a great job and was very polite and took care of any trash as well as cleaned up the work area. He explained what he was doing and showed me the plumbing problem. He estimated 3 hours and was done in about 2 hours. I would definitely use Western Plumbing again.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
