Everything was great

Wade took time to talk with me about the project to insure that things were done as I had envisioned. He also made really helpful suggestions.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have found just the right person in Wade Ambrose, to handle this complex job. Replacing 200+ linear feet of rotting exterior "rain boards" with plastic lumber. We knew that it might seem straightforward, and a certain amount was just that, but rot had set in below the top layer, and Wade and apprentice Sage, expertly removed all that, replaced it not only in the best workmanlike manner, but a real touch of aesthetics when faced with unforeseen issues: garden hose bibs, propane tank ice shields and piping, movable stairs that needed to be close to house but still shed rain. Because of all that, it took a full two weeks, but much was due to weather--beyond anyone's controlled-- and supply issues. Clean work site during and after and took all the demo away. Good for next 30 years. We also wanted to praise Wade for his good balance of family/work life. Even though there were long days of sunlight in August, Wade was sure to not go for 12 hour workdays, and safety issues that can result. He was happy, we were happy, Sage was happy to learn with him. You will be too. (And below estimated cost!)

The lead carpenter, Wade Ambrose, supervised the other carpenters in a kind and professional manner. The crew arrived when he said they would arrive and worked on the project steadily through completion. I am very pleased with the work they completed (stripping off clapboards, repairing the damaged area, and putting up new siding). The wages were reasonable and the worksite was clean after every work day and on completion.

Wade is an excellent worker. He follows direction and makes appropriate suggestions for design alternatives. The quality of his work is exceptional. He can be methodical and exacting which can slow progress, but the result is worth it. I have had him do a few projects around my home (partial deck replacement, waterfront stairs, emergency interior repairs) and would have him back again, for sure. He is also not cheap, but again, the result is worth it.

Prompt time on arrival and completed the project in a timely fashion.

I had a overall good experience: Wade reached out to me right away then came out to see the project within few days. We had his bid by next morning. Pleased with the results.

Responsible, adaptable, always checks in before completing each section of the project. Made suggestions, but, also very customer focused. I would hire Wade again and have referred him to friends. His work was precise, a true craftsman. Neat, cleans up after the project.

They do great work, and with a lot of care for the details.
