They responded quickly to my call. They completed the deck repair in a clean and efficient manner with we appreciated that thefe was no saw dust to track into our house. They gave me a solid suggestion for a deck coating to apply in 60 days. Only negative - the workers left cigatette butts

We had them remodel our bathroom. With our house being very old, over 100 years old, there was a lot of stuff to work around and we needed to add more support to the floor. Because of this, the plans had to change multiple times, but John was there to work with us to find solutions. They did such a good job, we had them do several other half finished projects around the house (including finishing trim work, building a pantry with a custom barn door, and painting)

Overall, working with UpCountry Builders was Good. We called UpCountry Builders to put in a bathroom in our house. John is was very nice to work with and understanding of our situation. He gave us a quote and stuck to budget throughout the whole project. The framing, electrical, tilework and shower installation looks nice. We are happy with the quality of the work that was done. Our frustration was mainly with the customer service and the deadline by when we needed the project done. UpCountry initially told us the project would take a few days to a week to complete. It ended up dragging out over 2 months. This is was due to a variety of factors including: - They had to push back start of work because their other projects were delayed. This pushed our back the start date 4 weeks. - They would often confirm with us that they would come in a certain time or certain day, and then not show up. This happened on more than one occasion. - They were not very responsive to texts or phone calls. - When working with the town home inspectors, they forgot to tell us about certain home inspectors we needed for the job. Instead of scheduling the inspectors all the same week or day, we ended up scheduling each home inspector over 3 weeks. - They left our space dirty and they didn't do a good job cleaning up after themselves. We would have to consistently clean up every day because of how dirty it was. - Lastly, they left the circuit breaker box open and left the live wires exposed for a week. This wouldn't have been a problem in some houses, but it our house, the box is situated on the stairwell in the basement, in a high traffic location. Overall, the quality of the work was good. I was dissatisfied with the customer service. I would recommend the company improve on planning for projects, because this project took much longer than we initially thought it would.

John and his team did a great job on our deck. His team's work is very meticulous. I would recommend usimg their service. My only issue was scheduling. We had started the job early in the season and didn't finish until a couple of months later. To be fair the weather did not cooperate for a good portion of that time, but there were opportunities when no one showed up.
