My initial contact with Tycos was Robert concerning removing and replacing my roof. He came out and gave me a quote far less than I expected. So much so when I asked other contractors they said I had a great price as well. So I decided to get the outside wrapped as well and to install a window that was long overdue. I can't say enough about the communication, the work and skill level of the men who performed the work as well as the comfort I received knowing my wife was very pleased with everything. I highly recommend using Home Advisor that paired me with Tycos who exceeded my expectations. Tycos General Contracting gets my vote as a company that should be called first to see if anyone can match their professionalism, skill level and their friendly and attentive nature when it comes to taking care of their customers. In my humble opinion I simply ask, why look any further?

Tycos did an outstanding job replacing my very old asphalt shingle roof. I received 5 proposals from other contractors and TYCOS was not only the most cost effective proposal, but they included several items that other vendors wanted to upcharge. Scott J spent a lot of time with me explaining the options and allaying my concerns. I felt he was honest and reputable. Their crew worked tirelessly through the day taking only 2 breaks, one of which was lunch. Since the days are shorter now, they came back the next day (Sunday) for a couple of hours to finish up the project. They left my property spotless. There was only one minor detail which they addressed immediately. I felt they went all out to insure I was totally satisfied. I would highly recommend TYCOS for any roofing project needed.

A little slow at getting the job done.

It always good to keep a company on it toes as far as cost with a 2nd quote, but with Scott you just knew that he gave you the best price that he could that was fair for both parties. They did everything they said they were going to do and more, cleaned up everything and did a great job.

Took time to review the entire project and its phases.

Bidding the job from 5 local contractors, Tycos was the most professional, detailed and almost most cost effective bid. Job was completed on time and roof looks great!

Do Not hire them to build your deck. What should have taken 3 days turned into approximately 20 days out of my life! Not just inconveniencing me but my neighbors as well. I thought I did my due diligence on the company, but apparently not. The workmanship was poor, the wood used for the decking was green, split and chipped and the deck was not built to code. I currently have ponding water in my backyard because the soil around the posts was not replaced properly. Based upon my experience with this company, there is no way that I can believe that they are experienced deck builders.

The price was very competitive and the work was done in a timely manner. They addressed my concerns and short comings quickly. Robert gave me the quote and followed up with me after the job was completed. Call Robert, he's awesome!

They were prompt, professional an workmanship was excellent.

Throughout the project Tycos was very professional and went out of their way to keep us informed of the progress on the flooring install. They also worked late to meet our tight deadline for finishing the project so that we could move in. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely use them for our next home remodel.
