I needed a new roof and soffit, fascia and gutters in the back of my house. Tyco wasn’t the cheapest of my quotes but Tim Cole, who gave me my estimate was knowledgeable and gave me confidence that they were the best choice. My roof was started on one of those horrible hot humid days. The crew showed up and went right to work. My landscaping was covered the old roof off in 90 minutes and at 2:30 they were done, everything cleaned up, you would never know they were there except I now have a beautiful new roof. The gutter crew came a couple days later and now with rotted wood soffit and fascia replaced with new wood wrapped in aluminum and my new gutters, everything is beautiful and solid and I’m quite happy with the job.

Can do a better job communicating with the customer when problems arise

They said they would clean up their work 2 months later I am still finding nails in my yard. The dumpster they put in my driveway damaged my driveway! For two months I have not heard a word from them or the dumpster company. Very disappointed.

They did a nice and fast job and did well cleaning up everything. Had two small issues with miscommunication between the work crew and crew leader but they were on top of it and corrected the two minor mistakes very fast and without any issues.

Working with Sergio was a pleasure. The roofing project was challenging, with crazy rooflines and heavy landscaping. Minimal damage to the gardens and terrific cleanup. Happy to recommend Tycos.

Was being proactive to replace 20 yr old asphalt roof obtaining quotes (~3700 sq. ft., pay by check). In midst of getting quotes roof leaked due to big storms in June 2019! Taking this into account in my quoting, Tycos offered to put tarp over leaking area for free until job starts. This was one of my deciding factors to go with Tycos. John on sales end was by far the most pleasant of all quotes I got, not pushy, quick meeting, and was the only one that came with satellite estimate of roof details to give accurate estimate. Once down payment given, it was a bit disconcerting that it took them 4 days to get promised tarp on roof (the longer the wait, the more potential ceiling drywall damage from rains). John also left the impression that there would be a site supervisor involved during the whole process. This was absolutely not the case. The site supervisor Jon (no "h") called to let me know the day crew was arriving. On day install began, only the crew was present (nice guys, worked exceedingly hard from ~7:30a to sundown). After first day, crew said nothing and just left. There was zero communication on how much longer project would take at end of first day. I would not have taken the full day off work if I knew this. It ended up taking 2 full days given size of roof. After first day, my sons and I in the evening took advantage of rented dumpster to throw out some old stuff around home we did not need. Walking to/from house/dumpster my shoe got stabbed twice with nails. I had to visually make sure driveway was clear so my car tires would not get stabbed going to work the next morning. Jon the site supervisor spent a total ~15 minutes at home AFTER job was finished to quickly hop on roof to look at completed job and collect the final payment. Final cost ended up being $4.30 per sqr. ft. for CertainTeed Landmark shingles and 20 year Tycos workmanship warranty. Overall, I would recommend Tycos, but site supervisor needs to be more communicative and active during install.

The work was done for a reasonable price. They cleaned up perfectly after the job, which was completed on the schedule they described. Will be getting them back for shingle roof replacement soon.
