We had to take out a loan for 15k because our unit has 2 pieces. After showing up late taking 7 hours to install we are with a good unit and no ac filters included. Called to have them bring them and if course nobody in the office has any idea if a filter is needed for an AC unit.
We purchased a new AC and a new water heater through Goettl within the past 5 years. Their techs are friendly, but management is horrible and WOW are they insanely overpriced for the quality of work. They placed the AC unit in a position where it is impossible to change the filter unless I take the door to the closet off. They replaced my hose bib, which two weeks later began leaking (which they admitted was their mistake). They came out to find the leak and in doing so had to cut into my inside wall. They had a restoration company come out to look at the wall (which was supposed to be fixed on THEIR dime for THEIR mistake) and neither management through Goettl nor the restoration company ever called me back - for over 3 months of trying to get in touch with someone to come fix the wall!!! My wall is still not fixed and I have realized I must do it myself if I want it to be done. Not to mention, I was scammed into signing up for their $20/mo service last March. They now want $120 to c

I had been with Goettl for several years. I was a member of their Sadie service plan. After my last service which the technician told me that I needed a new AC or $5k to repair. Spoke to the sales representative and felt a lot of pressure to lock this down. The dad of a friend of mine recommended another company. I got the second opinion and it turns out I did not need a new air conditioner and I did not have a leak that needed to be repaired. We?re Goettl told me the complete opposite. The second opinion saved me over $14,000. I?ve canceled my service and will not be using Goettl again. Very disappointed, because when I first started using them the service was great, but over the years it has declined severely.
New AC system installed 4/18/24, stopped working 4/19/24. Technician called 4/19/24 returned call 4/20/24. We are still waiting for system to be serviced 4/23/24. No one seems interested in repairing faulty ;new system. UPDATE 9/5: The absolute worst AC company in Tucson. Avoid doing business with them like the plague. A new unit was installed on a Thursday 4 months ago. The next day, Friday it quit. Someone came out Saturday and said they couldn't repair the brand new system, maybe someone can Monday. The unit was finally repaired Thursday, 7 days after initial install. All this during 110 degree weather. less than 60 days later the compressor breaks again. Again another 10 calls ignored and service rescheduled. 4 days later AC running. Now 4 months after new system installed compressor breaks yet again. Called Sunday and here we are again Thursday still with no AC. Between the lack of communication, cancelled appointments and the useless wifi App crashing regularly , save yourself the aggravation of dealing with Goettl and use ANYONE else. The hotel stay should be charged to them, relocating the children and anything else associated with the inconvenience of a poorly run company should fall on this horrible company that should not be a member of the BBB Peter
James Barris performed our yearly heating maintenance. He was prompt, professional, and courteous. We are satisfied Goettl customers--going on five years now!
We had a blockage or clogged pipes and James J came out and explained everything in detailed. He helped me out with the financial part and really knew his stuff. He was very knowledgeable and I was very impressed and his customer skills are amazing!
Julian came over on a last-minute request, and took the time to rule out possible causes and correctly diagnose the issue. He explained everything he was doing and took the time to answer my questions. He was very professional, courteous, and cleaned up when the job was done.
