I do a wide variety of jobs including: interior and exterior painting, drywall and repairs, carpentry, some carpet installation, pergo and vinyl, gutter cleaning, roofing, siding repair, electrical, plumbing, power washing and sealing of decks, commercial and residential cleaning and much more!

Repair Interior or Exterior Doors

Mike was a very hard worker. He knew what he was doing. He repaired the rotted frame on our store door and completely insulated it he also removed out wood attic stairs and replaced them with aluminum. It all looked like hard work to me and he did it all very well and he was very neat. He cleaned up everything he did. I will use him again and recommend him to anyone who might need him. I can't imagine anyone not thinking Mike is the best craftsman aroundl

I worked with Mike who has been extremely helpful in giving me advice and guiding me through the phone for additional issues i have encountered in my home. He is knowledgeable and detailed in his work. Mike has answered my calls during weekend late hours 10pm and has always maintained his professionalism; regardless of my ignorance with my project. I really appreciated his enthusiasm in trying to figure out my dryer issue and working on it as if it were his own.

Repair an Asphalt Shingle Roof

Tri-County repaired a hole in the roof which was damaged in Superstorm Sandy. They gave me immediate service at a reasonable price. The job is totally professionally done and looks excellent. The shingles match perfectly, there is no evidence that the roof has been damaged and repaired.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
