They were great!

Top rail installed my fence last year and it was beautiful. This year I hired them to come back and stain it. They did their usual excellent work. The stain evenly covered the boards. In no place was it too thick or too thin. The crew was very polite, pleasant and efficient. As usual they cleaned everything and left not a trace. I really hope that top rail continues their staining service.

Top Rail Fence Seattle built us a great fence! The team was a pleasure to work with - they finished ahead of schedule, and were very knowledgeable. They provided recommendations not only as we designed fence, but also during the job as it came together (confirming preferences, and recommending possible alternatives) - giving us the option to change design decisions as fence was being built. After the install was complete, John and team weren't satisfied with the quality of the post caps that had been and supplied, and came back the next week to install new post caps - I know nothing little fences and I appreciated the teams insistence on using high quality and durable materials. Top Rail Fence is a wonderful company and I am extremely happy that I found them. Their customer service is excellent as is their work. The area for building the fence is on a slope. I wanted a simple cedar picket fence since I know nothing about fencing. The owner arrived with the crew and diagramed what a stairstep fence would look like on a slope. The design was beautiful and worked better for my slope. The fence instead of being plain is now a work of art. Stair stepping the fence down the hill was more work for his crew and took more time. The owner is an honest and ethical person and did not change extra for the more elaborate fence. In fact, he didn't even have to tell me about a better design for a sloped area and made more money. The crew arrived on time and nicely cleaned the job site. You can trust this company. I highly recommend Top Rail based on my personal experience with them.

I’m so glad I contacted Top Rail. They were the only company willing to work with me about what I wanted done which was just a “fix up” of a very old fence. John was awesome and he didn’t pressure me to just tear it down and rebuild. He worked with me and his prices are very reasonable. Jose was great to work with and his crew were all very polite, hard workers. There were a couple of hiccups (more of a miscommunication between my husband and me) that occurred, but John and Jose were awesome about making sure the job was done the way we wanted.. John is a very hands-on owner with fast communication and very patient. Jose is a very talented and a great leader of his crew. I would absolutely hire them again. I will post photos soon
