Do not hire Top Performance. John, the owner, has no clue as to how to build a deck and stairs. He brought four Ecuadorian guys who did not know anything either. John, after signing a contract with me, then raised the price twice. He was not on the job site very much, he left the four guys, who did not speak English, alone. One of the upright posts was 4 inches off of plumb (meaning the post was crooked). the deck floor was not level. The stringers that hold up the deck were loose, two for them fell off. John ordered the wrong material, and to much of it, and not enough of what was needed, and I got stuck paying for material that I can't return. The material is very expensive. I fired John, owner of Top Performance, after one day of work. It was a disaster. I found two professional carpenters who had to take the whole deck and stairs apart and rebuild it. It is costing me so much more because of all the extra work. Do not hire this guy.

Fair price, fast and accurate work, and excellent communication. It was a breath of fresh air to find a contractor with all of those qualities. They did a good job and Iâ ll definitely reach out to them with any future projects. I highly recommend!!!
