Reviews
Write a ReviewAs the first reviewer mentioned we have a similar experience. Needed a pool liner replacement, looked at reviews in April and had inspection evaluation done in Early May. Edward and his son came a gave us confidence they could do a good job. We decided to move forward, paid our 50% starting amount. Cashed the check. Two weeks later they came for measurement. Since then, nothing. Impossible to get in contact, no one answers, and zero communication. Very troublesome. We now had to open the pools using old liner which is falling out, just to get some use this summer. We hope this is not a medical emergency but urge the company to maintain communication with their clients. If they can not perform the work, we expect our money back. I will modify my review if the work can be done, so please call us back, Edward.
Covid 19 delayed our manufacturer production about 4 weeks , we installed the liner with-in 2 days of receiving it . Job competed , payed in full .
I hired Edward to replace a liner and add lighting, paid them 50% down, no work had started so I called Edward and he set up a couple of dates to start the job which was 9/19/19 or 9/20/19 and did not, now he will not get back to us, we just want Edward to start the job
Weather delayed the completion of previous jobs pushing back this start date , this job was competed and payed in full .
Friendly, reliable and they know what they are doing. Replaced a liner, light and updated electrical components and we could not be happier with the way it all turned out. I will definitely call The Pool Guys first on any future projects.
I usually don't write reviews, but what has gone with The Pool Guys is the worst thing I have ever experienced with a contractor. I can not say this clearly enough, do not use this company. We hired Eddie and his team for new pool liner installation. Communication leading into the install was good so there was no issue there. Eddie however was not involved in the installation and were a variety of concerning issues during the installation and lack of professional interaction with my wife who was home during the install....but even that isn't where my issue is. My issue is simply this, the install was done incorrectly and I now have a pool liner that is not properly sealed to the bottom of the pool and will have to have another company come out and install a new one. Since the install was done in May and we did not get into the pool until early June, the issues were not recognized. As soon as we got into the pool we knew there was a problem I tried to make contact with Eddie and The Pool Guys. I have called and left 7 messages over the past 2 months. I have clearly stated that there is an issue with the install. I was very positive in the first few messages saying lets find a way to work together to see if we can fix the issue. ZERO RESPONSE from the Pool Guys. I have a pool that has bubbles around the entire edge of the pool and the liner actually moves when your feet are on it. At any moment, the pool liner is going to break because someones toe goes through the liner. I have never experienced an issue like this with a contractor where they do not respond. I will be looking to pursue resolution in others ways if I have too. Such a discouraging thing to have happen. DO NOT USE THE POOL GUYS.
The problems that Scott was experiencing had nothing to do with the job we were hired to do (liner replacement). We went back twice to try to figure what was wrong with Scott's pool, first time to inspect the liner, there was no issue with the liner , went back a few days later to test the underground lines, that is when we found Scott's problem was a bad return line, which we repaired free of charge. As for not being respectful to Scott's wife is not true, Ed spoke to her numerous times over the 2 days it took to complete the job, Ed was on the job the whole time, there is only 3 of us doing the work. Scott was never home, we never meet him.
Great job great guys! Definitely recommend
Pool guy has reasonable prices does good work, could be a little better with communication but I am satisfied with the finished product.
They arrived in very short notice to provide quote as promised. There were some delays due to rain and cold temperatures in Northern Ohio. Pool Liner has been installed, looks great and all as promised. Installation took less than one day as quality. Repair work was done to plumbing lines as requested and works and looks great. Overall job is great
