Write a ReviewIt would have been nice if they had checked the switch before changing the fan. My switch was all corroded and needed to be changed, which makes me wonder if I actually needed the fan changed. But we'll never know since they changed the fan and then discovered the problem switch.
Mary- Thank you for your review and thank you for the 5 on customer service. However, we were taken back by your feedback. You contacted us a result of a home inspection that was done on your home by a licensed home inspector. Your home inspector indicated that you had a bad radon fan. You indicated to us that as a result, part of your contractual obligation to the new buyer was to have a new fan installed. In essence that was a demand of the new buyer in order for your home to go to settlement. Upon receiving your call, we fit you in to fulfill your request of installing a new fan. Upon arrival, we noticed that you had an extremely old, antiquated fan that was not operating. We proceeded to change the fan with a new fan (as per your request). Upon completing the installation, there was a problem with electric getting to the new fan. We opened your electrical switch and noticed that your entire electrical box was bad and corroded. We asked you if you were having an electrician come out to do any work because the electrical switch needed to be replaced. You said no, so we were able to replace the electrical switch for you. I am sorry you were not 100% satisfied, but we did do exactly what you requested. You did not ask for a diagnostic service call on your fan (which was extremely old and anitiquated). The licensed home inspector marked that you needed your fan replaced. Maybe, there could be some recourse with the licensed home inspector. Hopefully we were of some assistance in facilitating you getting to settlement.
