Reviews
Write a ReviewGood to work with. Inspired confidence.
Timely & cordial. Had to insist on adding a pipe clamp at the top of exhaust. They didn't want to take the time to pull their ladder off of their truck. They did do it after my insistence.
First, we want to thank (consumer name withheld per their request) for his review. After thousands of systems installed, and being Home Advisor's Contractor of the Year for the past three years, it was overly surprising to read his review. (consumer name withheld per their request) indicated to us that he was a contractor. After going over the system design and not knowing the difference in mechanical devices, it was evident that (consumer name withheld per their request) had no working knowledge of home improvement and certainly no knowledge of radon installation. Radon remediation and radon system installation is governed by the NRPP as well as the EPA. There are no opinions when it comes to installation, there are guidelines. The guideline from the NRPP is that the 'maximum distance between supports on a vertical run is 8 feet.' (consumer name withheld per their request)vertical run fell well within these guidelines. The radon material distributor distributes 'snap rings' which are the approved method for anchoring the vertical run to the exterior of the house. In thousands of installations, I have never had a pipe come out of the ring, It actually takes an extreme amount of physical pull for the pipe to be even pulled out. After the completion of the job, as we were going over the job, (consumer name withheld per their request)opinion was to put an additional anchor on the vertical pipe. I informed him that it was not necessary. I further told him that all of our workmanship is guaranteed, so if there is ever a problem, the new owners could just call us. He still insisted stating that it would just 'make him feel better.' I instructed my crew to get the ladder and we installed an additional bracket, unnecessarily in my professional opinion and unnecessarily according to the NRPP guidelines. Although we try to accommodate every request, there are certain instances when clients call professionals to complete a job and follow a governing guideline. That is what we do for all of our installs and have been quite successful in doing so as evident by the additional reviews.
Great company to work with. Explained everything and cleaned up when done.
The customer service was very good. The price could have been lower, due to the fact that they worked on alrea6 pre-existing strucures.
