I live in a very old south Minneapolis home and unfortunately, the door size isn't standards for todays doors. So when I needed to replace one, I hired Paul Sterling to come out and extend the height of my door way to accommodate a modern door. Him and his partner came out and did the job in a few short hours! They're very polite, down to earth, and cared enough to check with me before doing anything extra. I would hire them again in a hear beat!

Paul repaired and/or replaced some wood trim and some paneling on my garage. He also replaced a rotted window sill and hung closet doors in the master bathroom. He obtained all the necessary materials, completed the jobs in one day, and did excellent work.

Sterling Building Restoration did an excellent job removing my old interior doors, and installing new doors. Sterling also did painting and general remodeling at my condo. Work was of very high quality. They paid attention to detail. Also they showed up on time. Furthermore Paul Sterling and staff were polite and courteous. Paul very good at problem-solving.. Pricing was fair. Didn't overprice.

Our house is a three story victorian built in 1898. Paul and his colleagues not only did a great job preparing and painting, they did a great deal of restoration work, including fabricating unique detailing, repairing rotten wood surfaces, replacing cracked windows, etc. In the middle of the project, they had to repair our kitchen ceiling after a heating system backup caused water to pour through. These guys were responsive, thoughtful and polite. Their charges were very fair, given the size of the job.

His work was great, as he went above and beyond what I expected he would do. My husband and I are on fixed incomes so cost is a huge factor and Sterling Building service charge was very reasonable.and affordable. I am still awaiting for him to do another small project but I did tell Steve that I wasn't in a huge hurry. I hope he call me soon at which time I know I will give him five stars on each count. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES.
