Overall I am very pleased with the solar install. First point of contact was Phillip. He was right on about what to expect with the install timeline and Oklahoma permit and inspection process. During the actual install the team ran into a few unexpected issues and went above and beyond to make sure the system was safely running at 100% and that I was a happy customer with all the solutions provided. This team is responsive and actually cares. Thank you Starry Team!

We would highly recommend them for all of your solar panel needs. Phillip Stayton was very knowledgeable and walked us through the process. He was very kind and patient when answering our questions! We were kept informed every step of the way. We have had them for several months and have noticed a significant decrease in our electric bill. We did finance the panels. Even with the payment for the panels, our electric bill is less than it was without them. Thanks so much!

Very professional, no nonsense, good price using some off the best products available. Interviewed 9 solar companies before choosing a company for my install and Starry Solar came out far and away ahead in my analysis. There was one hiccup in the install when the state came out with new code requirements during the whole process but Starry quickly came around and got everything up to the new code requirements. I can't say enough good things about Starry Solar.

First off, I am not one of those "binary" raters where most people give either a "5" or a "1" star review, so me giving Starry Solar a 5-star rating is legit. First off, mine was the first of it's kind in Oklahoma. It uses Generac batteries as a back-up, so if we lose grid power, the system automatically takes the house off the grid and we run on battery on an "island." Originally, I was told by Starry that the whole house could be run off of the battery. After they started installation (remember, the first of its kind in Oklahoma), Luke found out that the Generac system only supported up to 50 Amps. So Luke had to pay extra to the electrician to add a new panel that supported only critical electricity to the house that was limited to 50A total. That meant no HVAC or hot water. Not only did Luke make it right through paying extra for the electrician, they also knocked off $5,000 of the total price. I had the system installed in August of 2020, but it took quite a while for OGE to come out and set up "net metering" so the electricity I was generating above what I was using would be credited to my bill each month. So be prepared to wait for that, but that's on OGE and not Starry Solar. The first full month of net metering happened to be in February of 2021, of which we had insanely cold temps. While my neighbors did lose power a few times during that cold spelled, we never noticed the power going out. The heater had a hard time keeping the house warm, and due to the constant clouds, ice and snow, I didn't generate much solar power. So I wanted to wait until more normal weather came around before I submitted my review. Now that I have had 2 full months of "regular" weather, I can say that both months total bill was under $15. Yes, under $15 a month to power a total electric 2100 square foot home! Now the real kicker: Luke just informed me that Generac has upgraded their inverters where they will accept a transfer switch instead of the protected panel. So now my whole home will have power when I am generating my own electricity and not just the critical power needs! Luke bought the inverter and is giving it to me for free - all I have to do is pay the electrician. The service I have gotten from the entire team at Starry Solar has been above and beyond any service-related company I have ever gotten. I am one, extremely happy customer and highly recommend the Starry Solar team. And I am also happy to discuss my experience with Luke and the team, so if you want to talk to me about it, I've told Luke to provide you my number.

Starry Solar System picked me up as a customer when my installer was missing in action to swap out my inverter. They are now my solar installer and representative. I couldnâ t be happier as this company cares about solar and the people who spend there hard earned money on a better energy solution.

I have a commercial building that had a metal roof and it certainly left a lot to be desired. While there was a small leak that needed repairing my main issue was the lack of insulation. With the Oklahoma heat, a metal roof just makes the inside bake all Spring/Summer long. I only had a small room air conditioner that worked well but the radiant heat from the roof overpowered it and it just did not do the job. I needed to do something about it and in my research, I discovered that I could install Solar Paneling with a government rebate program and I could save about half the cost in tax refunds right away if I had my roof replace at the same time I added solar paneling. So that is what I did and because of that, I could also have air conditioning installed for the whole building. WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! I got the panels from Starry Solar Systems and Elite Craftsman Construction did the roof and panel installation. They were on time, efficient, and professional in their demeanor. All the things you would expect from a business but donâ t always get. The before and after comparison is very revealing. On the hottest days, I walk in, and even without the AC turned on, the building is usually 10 to 15 degrees cooler than outside. There have been several days where my outside thermometer said 104 degrees and the inside (without AC) said 80 degrees. Amazing. On top of that, there is the solar paneling. My highest bill last year was $140 this year the highest is $62 so far and thatâ s with the AC running for the whole building! Keep in mind, I did the math, if I had no solar panels and just the metal roof running the AC my bill would have been closer to $400. So yea I am very happy, my roof looks good, it performs great, there is almost no radiant heat, my electric bill went way down and my office is livable. I cannot say enough about Starry Solar Systems. Many people equate running a business to war if that is so then I know who will win the solar panel STARRY WARS. (pun intended)
