Jon and Nicky worked very hard to get the job done right, it was a very dirty job, full of cobb web's and dirt in my crawl space, very warm on the first day and raining on the second day ,but they got the job done very well. cleaned and removed debris left by the previous owner and installed a vapor barrier, also repaired the insulation that was damaged, I am very pleased with the price and the work done.

Simply told what they would do and then they did it when they said.

Jon is the owner and does the work himself for a installing a crawlspace vapor barrier and insulation. He was extremely thorough, efficient and knowledgable. He took care of an issue that came up without changing the price and I felt very comfortable leaving during part of the job. He arrived early and left everything very clean and tidy.

I hired Jon initially to repair some water damage in the crawl space which affected a couple of the support beams. As he started working on the project he noticed some constraints that required a few adjustments to the original plan. Throughout the process he constantly explained the several available options and what the implications would be of choosing between them. To prevent future damage he also installed a French drain system to prevent water entering in the crawl space. As he was already working in the crawl space, we decided to also reinsulate the crawl space as the existing insulation was fairly old and not up to code. He was very flexibly in terms of timeline and did a great job in installing the insulation. This was a particularly challenging project due to the area size (over 4000sqf) and crawl space geometry. Overall I'm very happy with the work performed by Square 1 Venture group, I highly recommend then and would certainly work with them in the future. Great value and customer service!

Great customer service; good communication

Jon and his business, did a fantastic job! He gave me several options and explained the pros and cons. Besides doing a great job, he was reliable and kept me up-to-date about what was happening. We scheduled some weeks in advance. He got in touch a few days before the work was to start to let me know that I was in his schedule, when he would arrive, etc. It was such a pleasure working with him, I have since used him for other jobs. I only wish that his business could do other kinds of work for me.

He has great communication skills. Really on top of getting back to you, which is always nice.
