I talked to many contractors before I hired Ivan for a landscaping project. I got the value for my money. He and his team were prompt on time and delivered high-quality work. They cleaned the whole place before they left.

Ivan personally came out multiple times as the scope of work changed and was very responsive and helpful each time. Ivan and his team were thorough and paid close attention to every detail. I do not know how this guy is getting such good reviews. I do not think they verify on Home Advisor. We found him through the app Handy. He showed up to plant seasonal color in our front yard and charged around $250 which was reasonable. Then my husband hired him to come plant seasonal color in the side yard while we were away. Unfortunately, my husband did not get a price in advance. When he came to collect the money, he told my husband he wanted $1600. My husband was furious. We ended up paying $1200 just to get rid of him. My husband asked him for a business card and he said he did not have one. So my husband told him he could have the check when he brought back a card. Suddenly, Ivan was able to produce a card. Upon further inspection, I found alot of pansies left strewed around in the containers and not planted. We are happy we live in a gated community and hope Ivan will not be allowed back in. Shoddy work and what we believe is incredible dishonesty. His positive reviews must be from friends and family.
