Iâ ve hired and worked with many contractors before. I must say that hector and his crew take pride in their work and it shows. Always on time work a full day, and with excellent results. I will always go back to them for any other work in the future. 100% satisfied!!, and thatâ s no easy task.

Terrific experience. I've used other contractors and have had mixed results. Spack Tack tells you up front what to expect and they stick to their word. I understood the quote and it was competitive. Hector, owner, maintained communication and provided updates throughout the project. As he saw other small additional work that would enhance my home, then he followed up with recommendations with reasonable quotes to get the work done. I have no complaints. Hector is honest and straight forward. You will have no regrets if you want integrity and good workmanship in the contractor you hire. I will always use Hector, Spack Tack going forward. I had full interior painting with closets included. I had floors resurfaced with new color. New recessed lighting in ceiling, new light switches and covers, new cabinet handles. My home looks amazing using Hector's recommendations and executing professional workmanship from his crew.

Hector is a true Professional in dealing with people, explaining everything and following up on the progress of his job. His painters were very good. They worked long hours to get the job done on time. I highly recommend Hector and his company; and would not hesitate to use him in the future or recommend him to my family and friends. After the job, Hector called me to make sure that we were satisfied and if anything needed to be corrected. It did not. Hector still calls me to this day. He is that kind of guy.

We have used Hector and Spack tack for multiple jobs, including a full bathroom remodel, repairing our ceiling after a leak, and this brick and stone repair work. The quality of the work was great on all three, but the main thing that I appreciate about Hector after working with many contractors is that he is trustworthy. (We just gave him the keys and do not worry from there), personable, responsive, and diligent. I would highly recommend him, and we will continue using him for our jobs going forward.

Hector and crew did a wonderful job painting my studio apt in Jersey City. He did serious plastering, made repairs, and was very easy to work with. He is very professional,and is expert at everything he does. If I had a question or thought about something he would always get right back to me assuring me it will be taken care of, and it was. Once he finished the job I had a small problem with something not related to his work. He said do not worry. I will go over tomorrow, and figure out what the problem is. He did, and resolved it. I highly recommend him. I did not know him when I met him, but just thought he seemed incredibly competent when I met him.

I hired Hectors team at the beginning of Covid and we managed to coordinate everything (flooring + painting the whole apartment) remotely and the work ended up great! So happy with how it turned out, and even though I never met Hector in person, he was always so responsive and great to share the progress on the job. Highly recommend!
