JD was great to work with. He helped us design the pergola for our patio. Installation was done in one day. The completed project is exactly what we wanted. It looks beautiful. Highly recommend this company.

JD handled the initial visit to the house. He quoted a cost within our budgeted amount. He managed installation of the metal patio cover from start to finish. JD did a great job!

J.D. reached out to me, and was patient after our initial meeting to estimate our project. J.D's price was reasonable & after my wife & I decided to move forward with the project he came out once more to confirm our requests and to make final measurements. We placed our 1/2 down deposit on 5/11/2021 and he informed us that it may take up to 30 days for materials to arrive. J.D. delivered the material to our home on 6/8/2021 and we agreed on an install date, when I would be home. J.D. and his crew completed the whole job on 6/11/2021. Very nice work, and we are very happy with our completed project.

Arrangements were made to install a cover for the driveway. From our first communication, I was adamant that approval be obtained from City of Tempe. Upon meeting, the company owner expressed his opinion that this was not necessary. Two months and 7 days later, I cancelled the agreement because we were not going to be able to agree on this detail. I found this company name on Angie's List; owner called me to say that he could do the job I required. At the first conversation, I told him I did not want to run afoul of the City of Tempe and that I wanted to be sure all their regulations were followed. At this time, he agreed, but with each meeting and phone call after that, he tried to dissuade me of the necessity of going through the proper channels with the City. About two months after we first meet, he suggested that I needed to consider whether I wanted to continue. After careful consideration, and communication both with other residents of Tempe who had had work done on their property as well as with employees at the City office, I decided to cancel the project. I informed the owner via written communication and requested a return of the down payment ($2300 - half of the proposed cost, no including tax) It took two more months and several messages left before I received any of my funds. With the cashier's check, he enclosed a letter stating that he was keeping $371.00. I immediately let him know that this was not appropriate and have received no response to date.

Great experience. Patio cover is exactly what I wanted. It was installed on schedule. JD is very easy to work with. The installer was quick and neat. I highly recommend Sonoran Shade and Screen.

Great work and looks great. Very happy. Once the material was in, the job was done in 1 day 2/3/2021 ( about 2 months later) first rain the gutter was not flowing correctly but instead, overflowing towards the door. Have spoken to the installer George twice, but have never heard from the owner, and am now waiting for them to fix the problems.

JD at Sonoran Sun and Shade provided outstanding customer service. He was very responsive, showed up on time and was very personable to deal with. Jorge did an amazing ob on the install and was very patient and pleasant when answering my many questions. Thank you again for our beautiful awning. We can now enjoy our patio!
