This was a 5-star experience all around. The technician was prompt, very courteous and knowledgeable, and diagnosed the issue within 15 minutes. He suggested a fix and the price was appropriate. He already had the parts to fix the fireplace, so the work was completed same-day. He fixed the fireplace, cleaned out the enclosure, vacuumed all the debris from the work, and made sure it worked be4fore leaving. I would hire this company again for other tasks, no problem.

I had a leak in the flashing for my stucco chimney. Also had them replace damaged galvanized chimney cap with stainless steel cap. The workmanship of the new cap was outstanding. Ray did a temp fix while waiting for the cap to be fabricated. He was on time time and communicated effectively every aspect of the work he performed. Skilled craftsman. I highly recommend Ray and his company.

I have used Somri for two years, or two fall seasons. Last year they came out and did a basic chimney sweep for me and checked the gas start to make sure it was in good working order. They were very efficient and left the den so tidy. This year, they came out and did a fireplace inspection including checking the firebox and the chimney, including an inspection on my roof, peering down into the chimney. They found several cracks in the chimney that needed sealing. They found several cracks in the firebox that needed sealing. The chimney cap was corroded and needed to be replaced. My house is more than 30 years old so I was not surprised that some general maintenance needed doing. Somri scheduled a comprehensive fix for me that addressed every issue. They came out within a few weeks and fixed everything. Their price was very reasonable for the volume of work they did. They also provided before and after pictures so I could see the work they performed. This is a wonderful small business that I look forward to supporting for many years.
