Soil Friends took the time to design a thoughtful, effective solution for my water issues. Ben provided multiple options, coordinated with the city and drain commissioner, and delivered great results. He even followed up the next year to ensure everything performed as expected. Ben removed old concrete sidewalk slabs, installed a French drain to collect ground and downspout water so that we no longer have foundation flooding. He also replaced the old concrete with a beautiful flagstone walkway which drains and is beautiful. Ben is a thoughtful, knowledgeable problem solver! We highly recommend Soil Friends Excavating.

Ben and the guys were great. Always arrived early and worked late. I had them replace a retaining wall which they did magnificently, exceeding my expectations. They also installed three French drains for my down spouts. I have had no more problems with water in my base or washing away my yard. Thanks guys

Not only did Ben and his crew do an amazing job at installing a french drain system around the terrace of our precious Frank Lloyd Wright designed house, but they were a pleasure to have around as well. Ben was great from start to finish. He gave me expert advice, explained the estimate in detail, and helped me decide how I wanted the work done. Ben did an amazing job on fixing your water issues in our egrass windows for our basement. The retaining wall, drainage and French drain he installed is keeping us dry. Ben and his crew just finished a job at our home, taking water away from where it had entered our basement beneath an egress window by adding and rebuilding retaining walls, drains, gravel and a French drain He was very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. His team was very efficient and professional. They started and finished the work right on time. They left our property looking much better than it did at the start, were extremely careful with any cables they encountered, fixed areas in the lawn that were affected by equipment, kept us updated on their progress daily, and kept to the price they quoted for the job. I would recommend them highly.

Ben and his team were great! Weâ ve been in the process of moving and our yard was in desperate need of some love. When the time came to take care of the landscaping Ben and the rest of soil friends excavation were the only guys I wanted to do the job.
