I have been dealing with rats in my attic since shortly after our house construction was completed 28 years ago. I keep a few baited snap traps in the attic near the rodent droppings and on average we trap about 2-3 rats per year. No big deal. I have dealt with a half dozen or so "pro exterminators" over the years. Nearly all have claimed they have discovered and "blocked" the entry point on my roof where the rats have gained access but the rat problem has continued. The cameras revealed continuous rat activity but never more than 2-3 rats at any given time. They also revealed that most of the rats just sniffing around the baited snap traps but not getting trapped. Frustrated that they were still getting in, I reached out to Brian Higgins, the owner for help. He responded within 10 minutes of my posting and came the very next day. The guy's a pro and knows his stuff. He'll outsmart your "dirty rats".

Brian Higgins the owner, was very thorough and considerate. He gave us a fair price and did a wonderful job. He eliminated the dead rats at were in the attic and under the house. He helped us fog the entire house to get rid of the mites that were biting me for 6 months. Then Brian climbed on the roof and covered all access holes with wire mess. He did that to the perimeter of the house too. Finally he set traps with bate in the attic and crawl space under the house. Two weeks later he returned and did an inspection of the traps to make sure there was no additional activity . Saturday night at 9pm we heard a loud noise in a closet and crashing in the attic. Called Brian who said 'no problem, be right over' and he was. Checked the closet -- all clear; checked the attic and saw a rat which he removed, all by 10pm. We will have him back next week to track down how the rat got in and close that off. Top notch work. Brian and Patrick went above and beyond to protect our home from those pesky rats. They patched up so many holes in our garage and attic that we didnâ  t even know we had. They also used a strong wire mesh instead of foam, which many competitors use and rats can chew right through after a year or two. They came regularly after they installed the traps and patched up the rat holes to check if the rats had gotten back in. They also gave us tips on house improvements that would keep the rats away, like cutting down berry trees that were touching the roof of the house and sticking to composition roof. On top of all their professionalism, theyâ  re wonderful people and a joy to work with. We always have a laugh when Brian comes over. He even helped us with our Christmas lights and cutting down a tree by the house. It truly feels like a permanent fix rather than a band aid solution â  we get even more peace of mind since they have a 3 year warranty. My wife and I are so glad we hired Simply Rodents and cannot recommend them highly enough.
