The work was done exactly as requested, quick easy and very neat.

I hired Sergio s Construction through Angi for an urgent front door replacement after my original door was broken by a 911 emergency entrance( I am a tenant). The door could not close or lock, so immediate repair was necessary for safety reasons. Sergio stated that he was certified, insured, and had over 20 years of experience, and that he worked with Home Depot. We communicated primarily by text regarding scope, timing, and price. I clearly requested that the replacement door be the same as the original, which was a fire-rated door. After inspecting the door, he quoted $1,700, which we negotiated to $1,500 without painting and partially cash payment. I repeatedly requested a written estimate, invoice, and receipt, but he said his software was not working and promised to provide them later. I paid $400 by credit card in advance for materials, but he did not provide a receipt or proof of purchase. The next day, he installed the door and adjusted the frame. However: The peephole was placed in a different location than the original An extra lock was not installed When I requested corrections, he became annoyed and insisted these were minor issues and refused to fix them. He finally agreed to fix the extra lock the next day. He sent a text stating there was a 1-year warranty, but still did not correct the peephole issue. Before paying the remaining balance, I again requested an invoice and receipt. He became aggressive, angry, and pressured me to pay immediately. As a single mother with children and an elderly parent at home, I felt intimidated and paid the remaining $1,100 in cash to avoid escalation. After full payment: He continued to refuse to provide an invoice or receipt He yelled during phone calls, postponed repeatedly, and eventually blocked me I received no documentation at all Because my landlord required information about the door, I hired another contractor to inspect the work. The contractor confirmed that the installed door is NOT fire-rated, even though the original door was fire-rated. This is a serious safety and code compliance issue. I am now unable to provide my landlord with any documentation because Sergio s Construction refuses all communication. Due to the safety concerns, misrepresentation, lack of documentation, and intimidation, I am requesting a refund. I do not feel safe allowing this contractor back onto the property.

My request was for a simple curb core. I paid a $106.00 deposit and they sent someone who didn't know what he was doing and he broke the concrete around the hole (pic attached). I called and the owner came out two days later and put on a patch. I was concerned that it wasn't going to last so refused to pay until, at least, the patch had dried. Two days later, I moved the pipe he put through the hole (it was sticking out in the gutter) and the patch fell out. Pictures attached. I called and didn't hear back for 24 hours so have now hired someone else to repair the damage. I want my $106 deposit back. He destroyed my curb and now I have to pay MUCH more to repair it. At this point I don't want him to do anything further. If we end up in court I'm going to ask him to pay for the repair.

Sergio Construction is an outstanding job on our projects. We were so pleased with their work that we added additional projects that were on our “to do” list. All were completed in a timely manner. We have called Sergio Construction for several other maintenance projects since our original project. They are excellent.

Excellent contracter. Prompt and available for questions. Concrete walkway completed and looks just right. Recommended in my book.

Great and quick service!

Sergio has remodeled our entire 3bd condo. What started as a ceiling fan installation morphed to remodeling every room. His work is stunning! He and his crew are the very best in the business. His rates are always reasonable and he stands behind his work. He won’t leave you hanging. We are so very happy with his incredible work ethic and stellar final product. We moved to Florida and wish he had a clone. There is no better contractor anywhere. 5 stars!

Outstanding service from start to finish. Work was done with a day of contact. They protected our floor and furnishings from dust during the drywall demo and new drywall installation. Other than having a great looking wall shrewd previous water damage had been, you couldn't tell anyone had just completed major
