Did poor job left old floor under mobile home and did not finish project

The grey and green are what I had done and the purple and pink were the original colors. They did a great job and were very nice and understanding to work with.

Wavy drywall was never removed. Cabinets hung at different heights. Tub installed incorrectly. Electrical outlets installed (without consulting me) where mirror had to go. Found out last minute I would not have a toilet overnight so had to go to a hotel; they never offered to pay for it. Went two weeks without a shower and over two weeks without a bathroom door. I was cleaning their messes daily. The tile grout cracked within days of installation; they never fixed or sealed it. They drilled holes all the way through the wall to my bedroom and failed to repair. Their plumber wrecked the top of my dryer (he did not cover it) and 2nd St will not fix. They damaged new vanity, mirror, walls. will not not replace or fix what they damaged. Tim first came to house in Feb 24, they started work Mar 24, then they BAILED on project July 24. Worst experience of my 20 yrs of homeownership. I could never ever recommend 2nd Street. I have sought legal advice and will file a complaint with the BBB.

Very friendly and professional service. Tim came to my house for an initial consultation. He was very professional and patient and explained everything very well and answered all my questions. I had great confidence I had contacted the right people for the job and that proved to be 100% correct. Josh did EXCELLENT work and is perhaps one of the most polite and respectful people Iâ ve ever met. The whole experience was great and the damage to my walls (caused primarily by movers) disappeared. In fact, I think my walls look better than new! Additionally, he did very clean work. I didnâ t have any dust (from sanding) to cleanup afterward. Itâ s clear that Josh takes great pride in what he does. Iâ ll definitely use 2nd Street Painting for any home repairs or future projects without question. A+++

The foreman, Josh, made the whole process as nice as it could be. The workmanship was excellent, very professional.

We hired 2nd Street Painting for a garage ceiling repair project. The job included 1) removing and replacing damaged drywall, 2)installing screws to damaged seams, 3)taping, finishing and sanding drywall seams, and 4)priming and painting the repaired areas. BJ worked hard and efficiently to help hang the drywall on one of the days. Josh did the rest of the work and has my vote for being the hardest worker I know. He is efficient, highly-skilled, punctual, pleasant, and above all, kind.

We are new to the Champaign area and our house needs extensive renovations. What extreme good luck for us that we found Nate's Painting. Nate and his staff are absolutely professional, responsive, and do high quality work at a very fair price. To date they have painted our entire home, removed an unsightly drop ceiling and replaced it with drywall, totally remodeled a bathroom, and completed several smaller jobs. Josh has done much of the work and as well as being a most conscientious and talented professional , he is just the nicest guy. We will continue to use Nate and his crew until all our renovations are complete.

Josh, Jason, and Josh worked very professionally and kept us informed every step of the way. They were especially flexible when we had to coordinate their work with a plumber to get a radiator removed and plaster repaired. It was great to see the cooperation between them in pretty tight space. We are very happy with the outcome.

Jason and BJ painted our kitchen and laundry room cabinets. They did a great job and we could not be happier! We spent some time researching different finishes, resurfacing and even installing new cabinets. So glad we went with 2nd Street Painting - our cabinets look brand new! The work was done efficiently, cleanly and with great care. All of our questions were promptly answered. The guys were very friendly, polite and easy to work with. Great communication too! We will have them out for our next painting project. Highly recommend!
