Very diligent workers with a strong sense of good customer service. Worked in 90+ degree weather with a smile on their faces. Hand-dug the French Drain as there was no way to bring in equipment.

Robert came to my home and provided me with a bid on the spot for the work I needed done - excavation and installation of a French Drain to mitigate the moisture problem in my rock-foundation basement. He was always ready to communicate with me, and even showed up at the end of the work to review it and make sure I was happy. He scheduled the work very promptly with me (the following week), and then SHOWED UP ON TIME! Yeah, not something you usually get with contractors is it? Color me impressed. The two employees were VERY good, diligent and worked in 90+ degree weather, all with a smile on their face! They came prepared, dug like badgers and then graded the slope. Any time I came out to talk, the lead paused what he was doing and gave me his full attention. GREAT listener! My questions and comments were responded to in the most polite and customer-service friendly manner. When I talked to the two workers about a change to the original plan, they were very willing and happy to do some re-work, and the only thing they said was, "As long as that will make you happy" and "That is what we are here to do!" The manual excavation of a 30' long, 24" deep trench, through rock and roots took them just shy of 2 work days to complete. There was no way of bringing in equipment to do the digging as Spokane decided that they needed to make a beautification grassy swail along Monroe Street. I was and still am VERY pleased with the work. All in all, if I ever have another excavation project to do, I'll be calling Robert Sacre Excavation first!
