Write a ReviewAbsolute nightmare! Do not use Ritzcraft! Unprofessional, negligent, and terrible quality. By far the worst contractor we have ever used. Most of the work is subbed out and is very poor quality (see pics). The owner acts like he can do no wrong and gets offended when you point out any issues. Worst of all, knowing that we have a new baby and a 3 year old, he rudely insisted that we could use the pool 48 hours after they finished. Our pool company couldn't believe it. It would have burned their skin! We are still seeking resolution to our issues 4 months later and are out money as a result. Please save yourself a huge headache and avoid Ritzcraft!
We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the work we competed on your pool resurfacing project. We want you to know that our customers are incredibly important to us and we always strive to do whatever we can do ensure they are happy and satisfied. While we understand that at times we may differ in opinion with our customers, we still always want to make it right. In your particular situation, we repeatedly tried to make it right even among our differences of opinions. While we truly appreciate feedback of all kinds, we know that your claims of negligence are incorrect and inaccurate. While we have already discussed all of this with you, we want to ensure we address a few specific issues again. Pool Water Safety We do not use the "hot start procedure". We use 1-2 gallons of acid and a metal sequestrant. This allows for the pool to be used after 48 hours if the pool has been brushed and balanced. To ensure there is no confusion, we have all of our customers sign this disclosure that states "do not swim in the pool or allow animals in the pool until the water is balance." In addition, we even offer an optional "pool start-up" service to ensure pool water safety. You declined this service but did sign the disclosure. As far as the work starting on time we were waiting for some decisions to be made by you and as soon as we had them we started. We know how to install coping and in your situation you had options. You selected an option and we installed. It is not uncommon when a tile with a netting is used for there to be a few spots where the netting protrudes. It's better not to try fixing that until after the grout has dried. I would be more than willing to come out and take care of that issue. It only takes 1 minute. We certainly did not use different colors of grout. Your surface is a brushed pebble. Some people thinks it rough and some don't. This style of finish carries a 10 year warranty vs the water wand finish, which is much nicer. I went over the options with you including the pros and cons and you decided to go with the less expensive option. It saddens us to know that you are not satisfied. As started before, we strive to deliver an excellent product and service and always want our customers to be happy. Please know that if you feel there are still outstanding issues we are more than happy to fix them. Please just let us know how we can help.
Pretty good experience. The finished pool resurfacing job with new tile looks great, and I'm happy. The project manager, Bill, is a great guy and easy to work with. I paid extra for him to manage my pool care once the resurfacing was completed, and I think it was money well spent. The only complaint I have is the owners, David and Ericka, just dropped out of sight once the project started. They are very nice people, and I thought they would check with me at least once to ensure I was happy with how things were progressing. I even called once and left messages for both of them, but never heard back. So, maybe not the best customer relations, but nevertheless, I was very pleased with the overall job. I strongly recommend this company.
Bill the project manager was absolutely a total pleasure to work with. He answered my 101 questions immediately via text and phone. Can’t say enough good things about him. Very happy with the pool. Good job.

Contracted work to others who did not do satisfactory work-denied anything was wrong and I had to demand things get straightened out-did not communicate requirements for pool treatment -expected my pool service to know what needed to be done to handle new finish-basically voided lifetime warranty by not providing requirements until after the pool was completed-overall just poor communication and customer service
Pleasant and professional. One recommendation is to cover all patio furniture with plastic before grinding
One of the best contractor experiences I've had to date. This was a large pool remodel project that involved not only resurfacing the pool and pool deck, but also adding walkways from the pool deck around the perimeter of the house, a new patio, a fire pit, a pool heater and expanding the driveway. The work was done in an efficient and timely manner. The pricing was very competitive for the amount of work needed and I'm happy with the results to date. Would definitely hire again.
