    My mom’s AC was giving her some problems, and with her being elderly I wanted to have someone come out and take a look at it. I’ve always heard of RedCap via commercials on TV. So I gave them a shot and they had someone come out and checked it. Beau Scholz was the technician that came out and he found the problem right away. He was very attentive and polite. He solved our problem and offered some suggestions to avoid the problem from happening again. I will be using RedCap for future AC concerns.

    Scheduled a service trip to recharge freon and find leak. The tech instead tried to sell me the following: Capacitor - $677.00 Warranty on capacitor - $724.00 Surge protector - $724.00 Refrigerent - $431.00 Leak search - $403.00 U/V lamp - $2,543.00 Filter dryer - $724.00 Total - $6,226.00 My entire HVAC system is only 5 years old. I hired another company who fixed the leak and recharged the system for $400.00

    On a service contract which includes a spring and fall system cleaning.  Overall, a pleasing client experience. Normally, the invoice for a service contract visit is clear.  However, the tech suggested a "Hard Start Kit for A/C / Heat Pump Unit"/start-up capacitor.  This would be a separate service item with its own part and labor charges as it does when you take your car to dealership for service.  No detail for parts, labor, or any other charge. A clear lack of transparency. Hence, below average invoice /bill. As the link below shows, a "Hard Start Kit for 3.5 to 4.5 Ton A/C Units"/start-up capacitor runs for 50 or no more than $100.00 for the part. Now guess what the total bill for the part was? Did you guess five times the part cost less than one hour to complete the install? There is no itemized cost for the $575.45 charge. What is the $400.00 to $425.00 cost for? [Link Removed]

    I was trying to fix the issue of hot water is not reaching to farthest booth room, called Red Cap Plumbing, without hold, I was connected to expert and scheduled visit to my home to assess the situation. Technician (Erick) came on time and provide different options and ballpark estimations for each option. Total experience is seamless and pleasant. Thanks much Red Cap Plumbing.
