Good communication, stayed true to timeline, cleanliness during project could improve

As the last contractor to help restore our kitchen after damage left from a burst plumbing pipe due to freezing, we finally felt confident we were in good hands. Up to that point we had a harrowing 6 months scrambling for any contractors willing to tackle jobs needed to get to a place for the final kitchen restoration. Resolution Construction took on the job and worked with our insurance to get the best possible return value. We couldnà ¢à  à  t be more pleased with the results.

The guys from Resolution Construction were absolutely great. They replaced the floor, cabinets, countertops, and backsplash, a complete kitchen remodel. The flooring and finishes of the cabinets coordinate beautifully. They were always prompt in getting back to us with answers to our questions and concerns. We reached out to Resolution Construction for our bathroom renovation project as we were wanting to update our master bathroom. Jimmy and his team came in right away with a reasonable quote and were fully transparent of their timeline and costs the whole way through. They did an amazing job and we so appreciate their professionalism, efficiency, and thoroughness. We have worked with several contractors in the past, and we can honestly say Jimmy is the best of the best. Before we signed on to work with Jimmy, we told him that we had a hard end-date. Jimmy created a timeline that would see our project finish three weeks prior to that deadline and he kept his word and stuck to it. We have never had a contractor so punctual and so organized; we were blown away. We will definitely be calling Resolution Construction for our next home project later this year.

We had a roof corbel on our old home fall off unexpectedly. It wasn't the sort of thing I thought could happen, it seemed very concerning and important to fix quickly, but I wasn't even sure what kind of professional to call for that. I'd seen Resolution Construction recommended by a friend online so I called them first to see what they said. Jimmy was super helpful and was, surprisingly, able to come out the next day to assess the situation. They were able to identify the problem with the corbel, inspected all around the roof, and noted the same imminent problem with a handful of other corbels. Ultimately, they replaced several corbels, getting custom made replacements that look just perfect, and install them in a better way than originals. They were also able to add on work while here for that, exterior painting and some small roof repairs (including a roof issue we weren't aware of), resolving some issues that had been let go for too long. Jimmy was great at communicating everything clearly and was patient with all my questions. It was great to have someone trustworthy in a situation that was frankly more anxiety-inducing than the average home repair issue during an already stressful time mid-pandemic. They were prompt and on-time with the work schedule, communicated when there were delays, did excellent work, were respectful of the property/space and everything was properly cleaned up and finished when the work was done.

Exterior window trim replacement.

We had a piece of siding repaired and 14 windows replaced in August 2021. I have worked with many companies over the past 16 years and Resolution Construction has been a favorite. Though they are a young company, they know what they're doing, have excellent communication and got the job done right the first time. Our windows are no longer an eyesore that allow air and outside noise in. They are already providing the much needed noise and insulation barrier we needed to stay cozy plus enjoy some peace and quiet. Will definitely reach out for future work.

After deciding to replace our flooring and have some painting done this summer, we decided to use a general contractor to coordinate the work so we didn't have to research and choose painters and flooring people on our own. I learned about Resolution Construction through a local Facebook group. They are a fairly young company, but based on their social media engagement and website they seemed competent and professional; so, I contacted them for an estimate. I am glad I did. Kat was a pleasure to work with in getting the initial meeting arranged -- very professional and friendly. When Jimmy arrived to discuss our needs, he was very personable and knowledgable. He listened to our requests, asked important questions, offered suggestions, took pictures and measurements, and explained how things would work and what unknowns we need to be aware of if/when work commences. By the time he left we were confident he could handle the job and would stand behind his work. He sent us the proposal in a timely manner with a detailed description of work and estimated costs. We chose to proceed with Resolution for our remodel work. From the moment we chose to proceed, Jimmy kept us well informed as he began ordering materials and lining up subcontractors. Once work began he would send us frequent updates on progress including pictures of the work in progress. His updates and engagement kept us abreast of everything going on including some unforeseen issues that he and his subcontractors handled wonderfully. The work was finished on-budget and within the defined timeframe. We are very happy we chose Resolution Construction to oversee our project, and we plan to use them on some future projects we need done.
