Rob was so quick in coming out to give me an estimate on my job. He was in the area so he squeezed me in the same day! I felt comfortable with the treatment and look forward to living in my newly sanitized home.
They did an excellent job.
While this pro sprayed the chemicals, they did not perform the job as I was told. They failed to move the large freezer and washing machine as I was told they would do, also when my husband and I began painting we found some of the walls not scraped or treated at all. We then needed to treat the mold ourselves. Not really pleased with the quality of their work. This comes from someone who is a quality technician.
We are sorry to have disappointed the customer. We try our hardest to make everyone happy. Wendy did not give us an opportunity to make things right. We always tell customers if they are happy tell everyone, but if not, tell us. We seldom need to do re-work, but we would have been happy to come back. As I recall this customer, we discounted the charge by 25% because it was a very small house and it appeared they were on a fixed budget. The basement was packed to the rafters with all sorts of contents, with barely room to work. Our promise was to make the basement free of mold and we are certain we did that by following the rules of IICRC-S520 for mold remediation. The customer asked me for follow-up paperwork that I had already sent and I needed to re-send it several times. So I don't know what was going on there. She seemed very happy when we left, but perhaps the husband came home and felt differently. We can only do so much but we also need the cooperation of the client. We have learned a lesson here and will continue to provide the kind of customer service that has earned us Best of Home Advisor in 2018. Again, we are sorry she was disappointed, but we do wish she had told us so we could try to make her happy. We always do.

Rob is honest, straightforward, sincere, doesn't bump up his estimate for unnecessary services, explains everything to you, and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. He sends you a very detailed, written estimate including the type of solutions he intends to use to eliminate the mold, which are environmentally safe and non-toxic products, and also provides his accreditations and ratings. Kate showed me the "after" pictures of the attic, and I couldn't believe what a phenomenal job they did removing the mold. The attic work area was thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed. I am ELATED I found R3 and would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you Rob and Kate for the exceptional job!
Seemed very knowledgeable, worked with our schedule, showed up on time, cleaned up, and took old materials with them. Very prompt and thorough communication throughout the process. Very friendly and willing to explain everything they were doing. Only minor concern was that there was the the room was left open (no airlock put up) while the damaged materials were removed, but I trust they knew what they were doing. Cost was in line with our expectations.
