I hired Preferred Skimcoat to scrape a bathroom ceiling and repair a wall. Both the wall and the ceiling were transformed. On time and on budget according to estimate. I will definitely use again.

Matt was super responsive and kind. He got in and did the job within days of us requesting a quote. We are finishing our basement which is cement blocks. We attempted to start to plaster and decided we could not do it. Matt and his team plastered the walls over where we had failed and made them look gorgeous. We were not home at the time and when we got home, our jaws dropped. Highly recommend.

I hired Matt after a no-callback and a no-show from two other contractors. I wish I found him first as he came by when he said would, got me a quote in under a day, and showed up to do the work. He and Austin spent about 8 hour putting up blue board over an old ceiling and in a closet, three coating everything, and touching up dents and areas where the trim had damaged the horse-hair plaster. Everything looks good, they definitely breathed new life into an old room. The plaster's about dry now, ready for a final quick sanding, primer and paint. I'm not going to bother calling anyone else the next time I'm looking to have plaster work done, Preferred Skimcoat gets my money from now on.

The ceiling repair over the 1x2 foot hole is flawless. The swirl pattern blended in so well that you cannot find where the hole was.

It was a more than $ 9000,00 job. I was a little bit skeptical first and then it came out a really surprise outstanding and excellent workmanship job. We are very happy for what Matt help fixed a lots of holes. Clean and willing to do extra work. Very reasonable price . Will hire them again !
