Pivotal Basement Solutions

I own a house which is around 90 years old. Its basement had compromised walls, one of which was seriously bowed. In addition, after heavy rain, the basement floor would be wet. I got estimates from three companies to correct these problems. Pivotal was a clear standout. The owner Jeff, his family members Andy and James, along with the rest of the crew make up a terrific team. Jeff and Andy visited my basement twice for long and detailed planning sessions. The actual work took 7 days for completion with James as foreman. All the problems of my basement were fully addressed. My bowed wall is now vertical, with strong supports along all walls every few feet. A complete waterproofing system was installed which feeds to my sump pump. Cleanup after completion of the work was very thorough. Bottom line: Pivotal is a totally trustworthy top quality company!!

Pivotal was contacted about porch pillar shifting. Jeff was exceptionally prompt and communicative. He drove out to look at the site...which was a 30 min. drive. He called the day of the appt. and said he might be a little late...(very thoughtful). After looking at it, he suggested a simpler and less expensive solution. I didn't think there were contractors like this around anymore. I would not hesitate to hire him....he's pretty rare.

Pivotal installed a french drain system in my beasement Fall 2023. Jeff and his team were very easy to work with and did an ecellent job including cleanup, Pricing was very reasonable. This is a second home for me and flooding in the basement was a constant souce of stress when heavy rains forecast. After 2 years the system has performed exceptionally well. Can't say enough about how pleased I am with the results!!!!

I highly recommend this company for any basement work that you need done. They are genuinely honest people that are actually looking out for your best interest. Unlike other contractors that will look at something and just say "Oh this is the issue, it'll cost about $10,000 to fix" Pivotal Basement Solutions is the opposite of that. After talking with Jeff on the phone they came to my house a couple of days later and took a look at our situation. We had been getting water coming into our basement and Jeff not only took the time to check things out but he provided information on how to chase down where the leak might originate from. He went into great detail as well teaching my wife and how the water can get into the basement and how to fix it. They did not charge us for the visit at all. I can't boast enough about their knowledge, integrity, and professionalism they presented while we met with them. Please please please if you are looking for someone to help with a basement issue reach out to them, you will not be disappointed. I will be permanently keeping their company on my speed dial if i ever need help.

Jeff was great to work with. He returned my call the same day, came out the next day and did great work. He walked me through any questions I had and was so easy to deal with. They left my basement clean and the job is DONE!! I am so relieved.

The team was incredible. They were very professional, got the work done early, cleaned up after themselves, explained how the system worked and answered my many questions.

I expected this work to cost me upwards of $7,000 and was surprised that their bid came in at just under $4,000. They explained during their onsite visiting exactly what they were going to do and what I needed to do to prepare for their arrival. All work was to be preformed from inside the basement (unfinished) and would require quite a bit of coordination with a plumber and other resources and be done in a timely manner. They claimed it could be completed in a single day but I was highly skeptical given that it required jack hammering out a 45 line of basement floor just to start the project. On the scheduled day, they showed up as planned, completed the work and left absolutely no trace that they had been there. My plumber was able to return to hook up the water heater the next morning after the cement had cured. Amazing experience. Huge load off my mind. If you are in the Peoria area and have basement leakage issues, trust these guys to to the job correctly and with a ton of integrity. Can't praise them enough.

Jeff is fabulous. I have been battling water problems for years. Each rain brought 2-3 standing water. Tried several contractors that couldn't fix problem. I have been dry for 2 years. Finally finished my basement. Jeff even called after the first big rain storm to see if everything was ok. Recommended him to several homeowners in the Lake Bracken area. 10 gold stars. Thanks Jeff.
