They charged more than they bid. Some charges were because of things we added, but some were things that I thought were in their original bid. If you use them make them out every screw cap, board, step, etc in the bid and make sure you know exactly what you are getting. His original bid was for around $ 24,000.00 for a 20x36 ft flat rectangular deck with three openings for steps. Two had three steps and one just stepped off on the ground. He ended up charging us over $40,000.00. His workmanship was good, but slow.

Paul and his crew did amazing on my new deck! He was incredibly helpful with options and delivered exactly what I was envisioning. He was in constant communication and very up front when his team encountered an unanticipated situation. He talked me through exactly what needed to be done and what the cost would be. I could not be happier with Paul, his team, and my new deck. I look forward to spending time on the deck for years to come!

I had an extremely tough aggregate deck repair that many other contractors would not touch, but Kleen cut came in with a very fair price. I would highly recommend them !! Paul (and his assistant) did a good job with the deck design, construction, and cleanup. Paul was easy to work with, and his bid was several thousand dollars less than his competitors for a comparable deck. The project took a little longer than we had hoped for, but Paul let us know before we signed the contract that his assistant's wife was going to have a baby, and that would affect the schedule.
