PMPC Architects

I've learned a lesson working with Jon Pimentel. First: in Chicago, you don't need architect's drawings to build standard 2-car garage (he said otherwise); Second: I was wondering why I'm getting very high quotes from contractors based on these drawings. The answer was: none of those specs were required by the code, they were way overboard. Contractors just laughed and finally one guy explained it to me. Architect though, made it sound like it was the code requirement. Third: Jon included drywall for the garage EXTERIOR walls. After I said, I cannot have drywall on the exterior, he said, the only other option is fire rated plywood (which is the most expensive choice). Turned out it was absolutely wrong and any material like regular OSB or plywood can be used. Any contractor will apply for permit for you, and you don't need to pay $800 to an architect to do it. Thank you, Jon, for you 100% useless drawings which where all wrong and cannot be applied to a real-life situation and Chicago

Don't return calls promptly, don't explain or talk clearly about plan or project... sad!!!

PMPC worked around my hectic schedule. I did not know of a HVAC licensed person. They recommended one to me. It worked out well. Any time I had questions or concern, I emailed or called, they always responded back the same or next day. I highly recommended PMPC to anyone. They are the real deal.

We recently used PMPC architects for our project, Prashant Mahakali and Jon Pimentel were two architects on our project. They are really knowledgeable and talented and so patient and polite. Really nice people to work with. They got our permits on time and even suggested contractors(we ended going with one of there recommended contractors). They will definitely go above and beyond to get the job done! I would recommend them to all of my clients and they are my go to people for sure!
