We hired Chad for what we thought was a small job: replacing the weatherstripping on three doors. He did that quickly, but the real story is what happened next. We showed him a couple of 80-year-old wooden air grates in our home, hoping he might have ideas for restoring them. Instead, he built new ones from scratch. The results are stunning. The craftsmanship is exceptional: clean, even slats, perfectly matched proportions, and a finish that looks right at home in an older house. He clearly takes pride in his work and has the skill to back it up. We'd hire him again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman who's also a genuine craftsman.

Otto came right after we called. He was able to resolve two problems for us in a very short period of time. We had a storm door that needed anew sweep and closer as well as a leaky outdoor faucet.

He did a thorough job. He made sure everything was straight and squared.

Chad was super quick to communicate and provide an estimate via phone. On site he was professional and honest, giving me door and frame repair options. Work was done quickly and I'd definitely work with Chad again in the future.

We never received a written estimate as we we were told he could not give one until he broadened the scope of the project to tear off siding if there was further damage. After given a range covering the scope of the project we were requesting to an amount that would cover a much more involved project we said we wanted to stick with the original scope - which should have come in at the lower amount range. At the end of the project we were billed for the higher amount which was a $2550.00 difference. The work that was done, matching our original request was satisfactory and well done. Our complaint was with the billing and the frequent moving of goalposts.

Prompt attention to my request. He was able to eliminate the problem I called about. While I didn't need any parts to repair my doors he was able to make the necessary adjustments and his fee was fair. I would use him again should the need arise.

Excellent service and masterful craftsmanship he gave me more than my moneys worth and completed all the work in a timely manner. He arrived on time and began work right away and was eagle eyed if finding and fixing issues to keep the project on track. I recommend him highly for all works you will be in good hands.

While the work that was finally performed was good, Otto is not dependable. Said it would be done in August of 2024, then September, then October, then November, then first thing in the spring and finally, today, almost 10 months later, was finished. Not trustworthy and not dependable. Very disappointed in him.
