I cannot recommend Stu enough. He was incredibly responsive in making an inspection happen on short notice on the week of a holiday. At the inspection itself, he was thorough, thoughtful, and helped answer every question we had (no matter how silly!). I will be recommending Stu to all friends and family moving forward and will happily use Stu again if the situation calls.

Stuart is professional, thorough, responsive and very knowledgeable. He patiently answered all of our questions throughout the inspection and we left feeling like we had a great understanding of the home we're buying. As for the inspection report itself, I intend to reference it for months and years to come as I prioritize improvements. We are first-time home buyer. We considered to buy a condo and found him on Homeadvisor. He is fantastic and experienced home inspector. He helped us identify one safety issue and a solid list of minor issues within the unit. He also explained in great details of how to maintain various apartment appliances. Not to mention that he charges fair amount of service fee, which is significantly lower than the market price. We'd definitely recommend him for all home buyers.

Would give 6 stars if I could! Upon inheriting an 80-year old home, I thought it a great idea to learn about my property with a home inspection. I searched for a smart professional who would educate me on EVERYTHING. Stu at Omega Inspections was FANTASTIC! I am extremely particular and have high expectations. I found my match with Stu Cummings. His 27-year architect career experience was key with assessing my 80-year property. I wanted to learn all the good and the bad news with this property. I appreciated explanations of how things worked and where potential problems lied. I found out later he was in the Air Force. That explains his attention to the many details that day. What impressed me most, was Stu's assessment of the abutting properties for any probable or pending issues that could arise. I never thought to look away from my house. He appreciates good construction and knows it when he sees it. He taught me how to take care of this home. I felt less overwhelmed with all of his professional suggestions. The home issues were explained in a way that seemed easy to correct. Stu even followed up with sending me specific professionals to repair each issue. I contacted him multiple times after with questions and he always answered right away. He sent an excellent report with photos and I came away much more confident about what I was getting into. Exactly what a property inspection should be! Besides being professional, he's got a really nice personality. Stu has lot of experience in architecture, construction and home inspection. I m a young professional in the greater Boston area buying my first home. This is a big moment for me and Stuart was absolutely fantastic. I don t see why you would go anywhere else. For an 1155 sq ft townhouse, Stuart was methodical, thorough, and explained everything to me. He took his time and it never felt rushed. My realtor literally said this is the best guy I ve seen (And I chose my own home inspector through the ASHI website, not the one my realtor recommended) Stuart had answers to all my questions. And the dude knows his stuff. He mentioned was an engineer in the air force back in the day, and later became a architect. He s clearly read up on new building codes and he s quick to point out even the small things out of order. I needed that. You can tell he cares about his work just by observing stepping into a new room of your future home. Another bonus, I m a tax accountant in the middle of busy season. My schedule is a nightmare. In 3 DAYS, I was able to call him, give him a chance to explain his background and experience, give me a sample report so I can look over, get a very very fair quote, schedule a time, and do the inspection (2.5-3 hours). Keep doing what you re doing Stuart!
