"After at least 30 years of major wear and tear, our bluestone patio around our swimming pool required a MAJOR restoration. The bids we got from folks ranged widely, but only Ion seemed to understand what it would take and came in with a more than reasonable bid. This was no small project and took over two weeks to complete, and every step of the way Ion and his one-person crew were on the job promptly each morning and took care to consult us on every issue that came up. He also took the time to make certain we could deal with various daily tasks and even a major crisis (our water heater tank broke, flooding the basement in week two -- meaning they had to deal with heavy traffic in and around their working area at times). Despite the tumult, the progressed nicely throughout.... The restoration itself looks wonderful and enhanced the look (and certainly the value) of the property. We were constantly consulted on decisions related to material and design, and the Ion's craftsmanship is evident in the final product. We highly recommend I.C. "George and his father in-law re-pointed my front stairs and also cleaned and re-grouted the patio. During the entire project, George was in constant communication with me. This made for a very smooth process and avoided any miscommunications. The quality of work was outstanding. They had to drill out every mortar seam in the front brick stairs. The new mortar work was perfect. The stair have never looked better. As mentioned earlier, the patio work was excellent. They power washed and re-grouted the entire patio. It really looks brand new. "Got a call 5min from Edgar after requesting a quote. He came within a few hours to give a quote on the tree i needed to be removed. One tall, dead tree between powerlines for $600. I noticed EBL landscape and construction on his truck so asked if they do paver walkways and asphalt repair. And he gave me a quote to do the jobs individually or all together on the spot. Next morning -today, he had his crew out to take down the tree! I appreciate his prompt responsiveness! As a new home owner, it is nerve wracking and time consuming to hire and talk to pros about jobs, he was very professional, answered all my questions, and so 10min after he drove away, after discussing with my partner, i called back and hired them for all the jobs!
