They just did not seem to have a good process in place. They ended up having to reschedule 3 times due to not having the right equipment, a truck broke down, etc. there also seemed to be some confusion with what was actually ordered. My take was that if you order their standards you are likely ok, but any deviation from standard can complicate things. The guy who finally installed what we ordered was great and did quality work.

OGD can out the same day I needed assistance. Garage door would only go up halfway. I was told a spring was broken on one side therefore had to be replaced. I authorized the repair because I could not get my car out of the Garage. The repair was done. The Tech was very professional. The only issue I had other than it being very, very expensive, was the part that was replaced, it looked like it was dipping and not straight and did not look like a professional job for the money I was paying. I made the Tech aware of this and that I did not like the way it looked. After he looked at it again, he then saw what I was referring to, so he immediately took the time and redid it again to my satisfaction.

I signed into Angi to find someone to inspect and make some repairs to our garage door and OGD replied very quickly. The tech came to my house and while I was at work my wife was there to allow them in to perform the inspections and repairs. After the initial inspection the Tech tried to explain to my wife, who is not garage door repair savy, of what was needed and they began getting frustrated when she called me to listen to the Techs explanation, when they explained to me what was needed they were very courteous...however things changed quickly after hanging up with me. The Tech finished the work and TOLD my wife to pay him so he could leave. She asked him for help programming her car, which he said he would do on our phone call, and he stated, Thats not my job. She reminded him of the conversation and he stated, your putting words in my mouth, pay me now or I will call the police, why are you being a b**** My wife then called me, obviously shaken and advised of what happened. I called OGD immediately and they stated they would call me back....of which they did and stated they could not reach the Tech but they would call me back after they talk to him. They never called me back, they never sent an official apology or otherwise. After further investigation I found out OGD is Texas based, the Techs that work for them are contractors and not employees. Do your research on them first and dont expect them to be accountable for their contractors

I needed my garage door repaired before I departed the state on a trip the next day. The OGD technician responded the same day I called to analyze the opener malfunction. He Identified the problem. He replacement the opener and rail system as this was the best solution as garage door had already been repaired once before. OGD technician had replacement onsite and replaced all materials in under 2-hours. This was the best experience with a repair I have had in years

OGD contacted me promptly & indicated they could have a tech to my home within 3 hours, that there would not be a service call charge, & that 90% of the time, the tech is fully equipped & skilled to make the repair the same day. All proved to be true. Provided 3 options for service, with no pressure. Set to work & was finished within 1 hour. The tech, Brandon H., was very mannerable & did a great job explaining what needed to be done. Great customer service.

The project was top notch.
