Jim and his team took on our complicated basement remodel. This involved grinding the foundation floor down to meet height clearance, framing, electrical, plumbing, floors, drywall, and painting. Being an older house with several code issues, project faced many delays and headaches for everyone involved. However, Jim and his team did excellent while addressing each requirement. Our one complaint would be that communications were not always clear and consistent. Overall we are happy with the work quality.

In Fall 2023 we decided to finish our roughed in basement. Our basement is approximately 1100 sq ft with 950 sq ft of livable space. Jim Johnson with Next Level did a great job walking us though the basement and discussing options, pricing, time line, etc. We decided to go with a full bath, wet bar, bedroom w closet and office/living space. Jim gave us a full estimate including time line, cost, payment breakdown by week, etc. He was very communicative throughout the process and always kept us in the loop if anything was running behind, to ask about ideas he had for colors, materials, hardware, etc. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and how beautiful it came out. When we did the final walk though my wife was not home so I sent her a picture and she said "our bathroom looks like a magazine!" I would recommend Jim and Next Level to anyone looking for a trustworthy company that will give you exactly what you are looking for and make you confident in a somewhat overwhelming process.

We were looking for contractors and when we could finally got someone to come look at the project they either never followed up or didnt think they could do it. I reached out to James because he helped a client of mine and they were very pleased with his work. The project was completed on time and at a very fair price. The communication was good, overall I was very impressed and excited James took care of us.

Highly recommend. Very honest proposal and pricing for my remodel. James has been great to work with and has transformed our bathroom. We hit a few snags which were not unexpected because my house is an old house that was built by the original owner. James managed all of the unexpected issues with true care. I will absolutely use his company again for next project.

Next Level has completed the screened in porch of my dreams-- reconstructing my former deck for the foundation, building the porch sides to match perfectly the style and color of my house and attending to every detail to make the room comfortable, charming and perfect for spring, summer and fall breezes. The staff were always professional and cordial and the contractor, James, communicated well and often and stayed within the estimate. I couldn't be happier! Highly recommend their work.
