My husband and I had several appointments with different contractors. When we met with Terry, we both felt he was very knowledgeable in all areas, and had very good pricing. Needless to say, we chose Newland Construction. From day one, we felt comfortable and at ease. Renovation Project: 1. Moved the small kitchen to our large dining room. 2. Moved dining room to former kitchen ( swapped rooms) 3. Dining room: (former kitchen) removed wall for open concept 4. New flooring 5. Stairs: replaced carpet with laminate, replaced rails 6. Living room: Added a window seat with storage 7. Living room: Added entertainment wall with shelving 8. Living room: Added modern fireplace 9. Added windows, moved sliding glass door WE LOVE THE FINISHED PRODUCT!! The project was right on schedule (5 months) and we didn't go over budget. As it is expected to run into a few snags during ANY renovation, Terry and John were very responsive and quick to resolve any issue. They were on top of the problem, and resolved with excellent results. We get a ton of compliments on our home. Thank you, Terry, John and your crew. You've exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!!

Terry and John were great to work with. All of their crews were respectful and did quality work. We are extremely happy with our addition and remodel. Would definitely use them again.

They constructed a deck for us as an addition to our new house. It looks stunning, as if it was built in from the start of the overall construction of the house. What stands out most to me is that Terry and John were professional and wanted to please us even as we had some issues and changes during the middle of construction. Although it took us quite awhile to get this project done, we are very happy and our neighbors continue to compliment us on the addition and quality of work.

Newland Construction did a room addition, built a new kitchen in the addition, added a new roof, new windows and doors and exterior stucco. We went from a small cramped kitchen to a huge new open concept great room. This was a major transformation. We now have tons of storage and counter space. The new windows and doors look great and really help keep the house cool which we are noticing now in the middle of a heat wave. I don't know how we ever lived without these improvements. Well I would love to include pics. At the beginning it was going ok and went real bad! Finished project has multiple problems lots to list (stucco cracked, windows not flushed w stucco w cracks in each corner and the wall then placed has huge cracks, back yard concrete Hugh crack and now, it has gaps! At end of project was not even completed owed only $3000 but had these repairs and both John and Terry threatened me w putting a lean on my house! 9 years, I am still waiting for repairs! Never returned calls! However, his air conditioner Micky was great he did honor his word and replaced the faulty coil (and I ve given him multiple referrals-great values) Oh, and the insulation was supposed to be R-19 and one side does not even have any insulation You can feel the cold air I will end this with saying it sure brings up bad emotions! And pain and suffering especially it is your home was supposed to be a place of haven. I am sad it was not a positive review, do more research because they only show the good ones! It is sad how we have to spend our savings, and they keep on going and ignore us once they get their money!

I had a good experience working with Newland Construction. We added an addition to our home, which expanded our master bedroom to add a bathroom and walk-in closet. Each crew (roofers, framers, plumbers, drywall, HVAC) that worked on the project was professional and friendly. Terry would work with my schedule whenever possible in terms of scheduling work. Overall, I would recommend and hire Newland again in the future.

I cant explain enough, just how wonderful of an experience we had with Newland. The professionalism and patience that we received throughout the entire process gave us the assurance and value that we hoped we would get from such a demanding job. Our home and family were treated with respect, our ideas were welcomed and now the quality of our home life is forever changed for the better. We began meeting with contractors to see what could be done so that our home could better suit our needs. We met with two other contractors before we met Terry with Newland. After our initial consultation with Terry we knew that Newland would be the company that would help us to make our home dreams a reality. We now have exactly what we wanted in an addition and our home is comfortable and beautiful. Our family of six is now happy and peaceful, and we aren t cramped and crowded for space anymore! The new master bathroom is so stunning and spacious that weve actually spent a significant amount of time in there just visiting with guests when we are showing off the remodel. We have well designed storage spaces, and our staircase fits beautifully in the downstairs space it took up. If we have any home-improvement needs in the future, we will absolutely go with Newland again!

Me and Terry finally sat down made an ending on my project peacefully. I appreciate his listening and understanding to the issues happened during construction and he promised to provide quality service in the warranty if any issues occurred.

Working with Newland Construction was a pleasure. Owners (Terry & John Booth) were honest, ethical and professional throughout our project. We did a major "gut" and remodel of our entire downstairs level and transformed our 35-year old home into an open concept modern residence. The workmanship and end result were fantastic and far better than we imagined! We would not hesitate doing business with Newland Construction again and highly recommend them as remodeling experts.
