I had a terrible experience hiring Radtko to install laminate floors in my house. He is a dishonest person who cares nothing about the qualify of his work or the well being of his customers: 1) We had a quality laminate installed but it was not installed correctly. There are many areas that are flexing and making noises when walking over because they failed to remove all particles from the subfloor correctly. This is a very important part of the job. We have a concrete slab foundation and there is no reason why there should be any flexing/noise. I have spoken to several other contractors and they all say the same thing....that the floor was not prepared and installed correctly. 2) We had agreed to do all areas of the home besides the bedrooms on the first day. This was made perfectly clear on the day they started the work. Well, they decided to move furniture in a bedroom and started demolishing the carpet and sanding down the sub floor. This caused excess dust to fly around the bedroom on to the bed and in to the closet. 3) They do not cover areas of the house to prevent dust from entering. We had the tile in our kitchen removed which caused a lot of dust and debris in the air. They did not cover the kitchen cabinets and we had to remove everything and clean it ourselves. The whole house was filled with a dense smog from the demolition of the kitchen tiles because they failed to create plastic barriers to keep the dust/debris in one location. There are other things that I could mention but think these three complains should be enough to warn those who are considering hiring this company.

After my wife got a number of estimates, bids and recommendations to replace the common areas of our home she ended up choosing Nena. While it took some time for our flooring to come in from a separate vendor once we received it and contacted Nena for an installation date they quickly worked with us to set it up. Installation day came they arrived promptly just as they said they would. Once they got going the crew quickly got to work and before we knew it they were done! Ratico was amazing, professional and accommodating. He even touched up some unfinished work in another room when we just asked him for an opinion. He even finished our laundry room since we had extra planks to complete it at a very reasonable added cost. If we were to do more flooring or decide to change existing floors in other parts of the house we would not hesitate to give him a call immediately. We will definitely will be spreading the word and recommending them every chance we get.
